University of Toronto Acceptance Rate: What Official Data Shows
U of T does not currently publish an acceptance rate, university-wide or by program. Here is what official data does show: OUAC’s own application counts, U of T’s current admission-average planning ranges, and the historical fact that U of T’s own governance reporting used to publish per-program acceptance rates and no longer does.

Official OUAC application counts for U of T
OUAC reports U of T as a single institution row, not split by St. George, Mississauga, or Scarborough. OUAC does not publish an offers figure in this table, so these counts describe application demand, not an acceptance rate.

What U of T used to publish
U of T’s current accountability document, the Performance Indicators Report, does not contain an admissions-funnel or acceptance-rate section. That was not always true: U of T’s own 2002 “Performance Indicators for Governance” report published per-program acceptance rates for 1998-99 through 2000-01.

What actually determines U of T admission
U of T does not publish one guaranteed admission average. Its 2026–27 Domestic Undergraduate Admissions Bulletin gives prior-year planning ranges instead, which vary by campus and admission category.
