Plan costs and deadlines in one place

Four tools on one page. None of them needs an account.

What each tab does

The cost calculator estimates one school year at one university. The deadline planner keeps your application dates in one list. The university comparison puts two schools side by side and links to our guides for each. The requirement checklist makes sure you haven't missed a form, a test or a document.

Estimating a year's cost

Enter tuition, housing, food, transit and books, then subtract scholarships or grants you've already been offered. Use each school's own fee page for tuition and its residence page for housing. The calculator starts at eight months of housing, food and transit, so change it if your lease runs longer. With a free account you can save each estimate and compare them later in Saved results.

Building a deadline plan

The planner starts with the steps most applications share: the application itself, the applicant portal, supplementary forms, transcripts and documents, a major scholarship, residence and your offer response. Add the real date for each from the school's site, or add your own milestones. It flags anything overdue, shows what's next and downloads as a CSV file for a spreadsheet.

Not sure which dates apply? Start with Ontario university application deadlines or Canadian university application deadlines.

Comparing two universities

Pick two schools to see their location, campus size and the program areas we've indexed. Then open the guides for programs, admissions, costs and financial aid, residence, student life and careers. The comparison doesn't rank schools or predict your chances. It helps you ask the same questions of both.

Checking requirements before you submit

Work through the checklist for each application: the exact campus and program code, the requirements for your school system, every prerequisite, English requirements, supplementary forms or interviews, and transcript rules. Check scholarship and residence dates separately, because they often come before the application deadline. Last, make sure you have at least two other options you'd be happy with.

Cost and deadline questions
