Editorial standards, sources, and corrections
Canadian admissions information changes. Our job is to make the current official record understandable, show where it came from, and correct it when the record changes.

Primary sources first
Admissions requirements, dates, fees, awards, and program rules are checked against the responsible university, OUAC, provincial or federal government, scholarship provider, or other authoritative organization. Secondary sources may help us find a question, but they do not replace the official source for a changeable fact.

Fact, interpretation, and advice stay separate
A published requirement is presented as a fact with a source. Our explanation of what it means is labelled through context. Planning recommendations are educational guidance, not an admission prediction, legal opinion, financial recommendation, or guarantee.

Every cycle gets rechecked
High-intent deadline and program pages receive a visible review date. We prioritize updates before major Canadian application periods and when official institutions announce a policy, form, program, fee, or deadline change.

Material changes are corrected promptly
When we confirm a material error, we correct the page, update the review date, and re-check related pages that may share the same fact. We do not silently preserve outdated requirements to protect traffic.

Applicants keep authorship
Our application guidance teaches planning, reflection, revision, and verification. We do not encourage fabricated activities, copied responses, ghostwriting, or evasion of a university's authorship and integrity rules.

Privacy-aware product analytics
Analytics and product events are used to understand whether visitors find a guide and complete useful planning steps. Google Analytics loads only after analytics consent. Sensitive scholarship identity filters are not saved in the Asterway profile.
