Our story
Stellar Advisers is a for-profit business helping students and families research Canadian post-secondary options and prepare applications. Recent student perspectives can make confusing application steps easier to understand.
The Canadian application process can be confusing, especially for students applying internationally. Our approach combines recent student perspectives with practical planning resources.
Our peer advisers include verified current students at McGill, Queen's, Waterloo and Western, sharing what they learned while it's still fresh.

Romulus Deenah
Founder
Romulus is a student at Queen's University and the founder of Stellar Advisers. He came from the Caribbean as an international student, so he knows how confusing Canadian admissions can be. He built the peer mentorship model he wished existed when he applied.

Stellar Advisers is a for-profit business founded by Romulus Deenah. Stellar Foundation is our nonprofit partner. We share a focus on helping young people access education and guidance.
We commit 10% of Stellar Advisers' revenue to Stellar Foundation, to support its work with young people.
Students and families can use Stellar Advisers to research their options and prepare applications. Human advising and tutoring are separately purchased services.

Romulus Deenah founded Stellar Advisers and runs it. He's a student at Queen's University who came to Canada from the Caribbean as an international student.
It's a for-profit business, operated by Romulus Deenah as a sole proprietor in Kingston, Ontario. It isn't a charity and it isn't part of the Stellar Foundation.
The Stellar Foundation is our nonprofit partner and a separate organization. We share a focus on helping young people get access to education and guidance. Visit the Stellar Foundation.
We commit 10% of all Stellar Advisers revenue to the Stellar Foundation. That covers memberships, advising and store sales, not only advising.
Our payments currently run through a Stripe account shared with the Foundation. So checkout and your statement may show "Stellar Foundation", even though you're buying from Stellar Advisers.
