When are Ontario Grade 12 marks sent to universities for Fall 2027?
For Fall 2027, Ontario schools report spring Grade 12 marks to OUAC by April 22, 2027. Universities have a May 3 delivery target. Earlier grades are sent as received. The other university targets are November 26, 2026, February 18, 2027 and July 15, 2027. Applicants outside Ontario follow their own transcript route.

Key facts
- School versus university
- A school reporting deadline and a university delivery target are different dates in the confirmed 2026-2027 schedule.
- Midterm or final
- A midterm mark is progress in an unfinished course. A final mark is the completed result. OUAC records the type.
- Full-year courses
- April collection includes interim grades for full-year courses. A projected course isn't a predicted percentage.
- Outside Ontario
- BC/Yukon and Quebec CEGEP have special electronic routes. Other records generally go directly to the universities.

A school deadline isn't the day your offer must arrive
OUAC means the Ontario Universities' Application Centre. It collects school records and sends them to your university choices. Your high school owns the marks it reports. The university owns the admission decision. Those are separate jobs. When you ask when marks are sent, first identify which step you're asking about. A report card at home, a mark in your OUAC record and an update in a university portal can appear at different points.
The confirmed spring collection shows that difference. Schools must report available marks by April 22, 2027. May 3, 2027 is the target for those marks to reach Ontario universities. OUAC says earlier submissions are sent as received. You therefore shouldn't read May 3 as the only day anything moves. Nor should you expect an offer on May 3 just because a mark arrived. The admission office still needs to assess your file under its own process.
Check the dated table before relying on a previous year's school handout. A date for Fall 2026 can look similar while belonging to the wrong cycle. This guide uses the 2026-2027 collection schedule for Fall 2027 entry. The Ontario application deadline guide owns when you submit the main form. The marks calendar answers a later task, so a school reporting deadline isn't a new deadline for you to apply.

Midterm, interim and final describe different records
A midterm mark reports progress before a course is complete. A final mark reports the result after completion. OUAC's school instructions give these different grade types. The annual reporting rules require a number for a midterm or final record. They leave the percentage blank for a projected course or a course listed as currently enrolled. Projected means a planned course in this system. It doesn't mean your school has guessed the mark you'll earn.
Interim is the word the spring schedule uses for a progress mark in a full-year course. Such a course doesn't end when a first-semester course does. That is why February can include current full-year grades while also collecting finals from completed courses. Look at the course's expected finish date as well as its percentage. An interim result can support review without pretending the course is complete. Your final result still matters when the university checks offer conditions.
The shorthand 4U/M refers to Grade 12 university-preparation or university/college-preparation courses. Those are the courses named in OUAC's collection schedule. Different programs require different subjects. A missing prerequisite isn't solved by having a high mark in an unrelated course. Use the program admission requirements directory to find the relevant school guide. This page explains when records travel and what their labels mean. It doesn't calculate a new admission average from incomplete information.

Check missing marks with the school that owns the record
Compare your reported courses with your actual timetable and latest school record. Look for the course code, completion month and mark type. A future course with no percentage may be correct. A completed course still shown as in progress needs a closer look. Ask your guidance office to inspect the specific row rather than asking vaguely whether all marks were sent. Staff can check an identifiable course more easily than a general concern about admission timing.
Night school, private study and another part-time school can make the record more complex. OUAC's current instructions let a part-time school maintain the courses it reports. The school where you're registered full-time can update the wider record and must correct duplicate or repeated-course errors. Tell the guidance office where you took the course. Make sure the extra school appears in your application history where required. Don't create a second course entry yourself to hide a mismatch.
A corrected mark also needs to reach the university that is assessing you. Keep a note of what your school changed and when it sent the update. If a decision or condition deadline is close, ask the university which evidence it needs while the correction moves through. None of the checked sources promises one processing time for every correction. A school confirmation is useful evidence, but it doesn't establish that every admissions office has already reviewed the amended record.

Ontario electronic marks don't replace every requested document
U of T says current full-time Ontario high school applicants have Grade 11 and 12 results sent through OUAC. Unsolicited Ontario report cards aren't reviewed under that route. That is a clear reason to follow your own checklist instead of sending every admissions office screenshots. The same university can use a different process for someone who isn't enrolled full-time. Read the category heading on the official document page, even when both people are applying from Ontario.
Earlier study can add a separate request. U of T asks someone finishing school in Ontario after Grade 11 elsewhere to provide those earlier results. Your current school's electronic file doesn't prove the previous record has been supplied. If your portal asks for it, follow that request. Read the U of T admissions guide alongside the checklist. This distinction matters if you've moved provinces or countries during high school and your classmates have not.
Applying outside Ontario can also create a separate task while you remain an Ontario student. McGill requires most Ontario applicants studying in Canada to self-report through its own form and upload the school record used. Its current page lists exceptions, including some prior Quebec study. Don't assume OUAC transmission completes McGill's initial assessment. Use the McGill hub for the wider application route. A university can request self-reporting and still verify final official marks later.

Applicants outside Ontario use a different transcript route
Don't ask a school outside Ontario to follow the Ontario batch calendar without checking the receiving university's rules. OUAC's transcript guide describes special routes for British Columbia and some Yukon students. Those applicants provide their BC Personal Education Number and authorize release through the provincial Student Transcripts Service. The data can then be collected on an ongoing basis. April 22, 2027 isn't presented as a national school reporting deadline for those records.
Quebec CEGEP applicants have another electronic route. CEGEP means a Quebec college that can prepare you for university. OUAC uses the Code Permanent in the application to collect and send the college record and updates. For other high school and postsecondary transcripts, applicants usually arrange delivery from the institution directly to each university. OUAC specifically says not to mail printed records to it for forwarding. Check each requested destination before ordering or paying for a transcript.
A university's provisional review can use a different format from its final proof. U of T describes uploads and self-reported forms for several school systems, followed by official records when required. An upload made by you isn't automatically an official transcript from the issuing school. Keep both tasks visible in your plan. The Canada application deadlines guide can help you find the right admissions route; it doesn't replace your university's document instructions.

Final and summer grades have a separate job
An early conditional offer is made before all final results exist. Universities then check that you met the conditions printed in the letter. For Fall 2027, July 8 is the Ontario school deadline for final 4U/M grades. July 15 is OUAC's target for sending all remaining finals. These dates describe record transfer. They don't extend a course-completion deadline or excuse a missing diploma requirement. Keep your offer beside the grade calendar so you can see both obligations.
OUAC's confirmed summer collection runs August 2 to 31, 2027. That doesn't mean every program accepts a summer prerequisite or will wait until the last day of August. Ask the university before relying on summer study to meet a condition. For the later steps, read the Ontario offer acceptance guide and the first-year checklist. The sources were checked October 16, 2026. Official OUAC pages were read through web fetch, with no private school record accessed.
