What official counts exist — and what doesn’t
Carleton’s Office of Institutional Research and Planning (OIRP) publishes an “Admissions Data – Undergraduate” index page confirming it holds application, offer, and registration data, updated “sometimes daily at critical points.” But the page carries no figures itself — it only links to two Power BI dashboards (an admissions summary by degree, and a detailed admissions report). Fetched live on August 25, 2026, both requests failed with a connection refusal: these dashboards run on Carleton’s internal network and are not publicly reachable.
Two sources that supply this kind of data for other Ontario universities also came up empty for Carleton, checked the same day. Carleton’s own former Common University Data Ontario (CUDO) index page now returns HTTP 404 — it no longer exists on Carleton’s reorganized site. The province-wide CUDO portal (ontariosuniversities.ca, the successor to cudo.ouac.on.ca) returned a blocked HTTP 403 response, the same result the Wilfrid Laurier acceptance-rate guide recorded for CUDO on the same day. Rather than substitute an unofficial number, this guide reports plainly that no official application, offer, or registration count is publicly available for Carleton as of this review.
What actually determines Carleton admission
Carleton publishes a current conditional-offer floor and prerequisites by program instead of one university-wide figure, verified 2026-08-14. These describe the conditions needed to retain an offer for the 2026–2027 cycle, not guaranteed Fall 2027 admission cut-offs — competitive entry averages can run higher with demand.
