Minimum averages by college
USask admits high school students straight into several colleges. Each one publishes a regular minimum average, and some publish a higher bar for students who apply by the early-admission deadline.
| College or program | Regular admission | Early admission |
|---|---|---|
| Agriculture and Bioresources | 70% minimum | No separate early bar |
| Arts and Science | 70% minimum | No separate early bar |
| Education | 70% | 75% |
| Edwards School of Business | 80% minimum | No separate early bar |
| Engineering | 80% | 90% |
| Kinesiology | 80% | 90% |
| Kinesiology and Education combined | 82% | 90% |
Agriculture and Bioresources, Arts and Science, and Edwards offer admission on an ongoing basis until seats fill, so applying early matters there. Education and Kinesiology rank all applicants by average after the early deadline and offer seats to the top of the list.

What USask's Fall 2025 census shows
USask's Fall 2025 census snapshot, taken October 8, 2025, counts enrolment and new students. It's the most recent official count of who arrived.
| Measure | Fall 2025 |
|---|---|
| New students | 5,693 |
| Undergraduate students | 19,663 |
| Graduate students | 3,597 |
| Total enrolment | 23,888 |
New students rose 6.3% from Fall 2024. USask counts first-time students, transfers from other schools and some new graduate students in this figure, so it isn't a count of first-year high school entrants.

Why there's no USask acceptance rate
An acceptance rate is offers divided by applicants, for the same group and year. USask's public pages give minimums and enrolment, not applications or offers. New students divided by anything else wouldn't tell you your chances.
The minimums are the better guide. In colleges that rank applicants, a mark at the minimum may not be enough once the seats fill.
