USask Campus Guide: U-Pass, Transit Go, Parking and Safety
USask's U-Pass is a Saskatoon Transit bus pass on your phone. You load it each term from the U-Pass portal in PAWS into the Transit Go app, using your abc123@usask.ca email. Students in classes that carry the U-Pass fee are eligible; online-only classes don't carry it. The fall 2026 pass runs September 1 to December 31, and eligible students had until September 16 at 4:30 p.m. to apply to opt out.

Set up the U-Pass on your phone
- Download Saskatoon Transit's Transit Go app and create an account with your USask email in the abc123@usask.ca format. Other formats won't link to PAWS.
- Verify the account from the email sent by noreply@justride.com.
- In PAWS, open the U-Pass portal, choose the term and click Activate. The pass shows up in the app within about 3 minutes.
- If you aren't eligible, you may not be enrolled that term, may only be taking classes without the U-Pass fee, or may have registered less than 48 hours ago.
- You can load the pass early but activate it only once the term starts.
