Memorial publishes one general undergraduate standard: an overall average of at least 70% in five Grade 12 courses that fulfil its five subject areas — English, mathematics, a laboratory science, a social science or modern/classical language, and an elective — with a passing grade in each. The overall average across those five must be at least 70%.

Memorial runs three intakes a year. For fall entry the application opens September 10, the priority deadline is March 1, documents are due August 20, and the application closes September 9. Winter opens January 7 with an October 1 priority deadline and a December 20 document deadline. Spring opens May 12 with a February 1 priority deadline and an April 30 document deadline. Those dates are published as recurring month-and-day dates without a Fall 2027 year label, so treat them as the working pattern and confirm before you rely on them. Competitive programs run earlier: Bachelor of Nursing closes January 20 with documents by February 3, Primary/Elementary Education closes January 15 with documents by February 1, and the Bachelor of Commerce beyond Business One closes May 15 for fall.

Two, and they are worth knowing. Memorial's admission-deadlines page publishes an explicit Fall 2027 deadline for the Doctor of Medicine: August 26, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. NDT. And the residence dates page states that residence applications for Winter and Fall 2027 open October 15, 2026, with a February 9 to 20, 2027 renewal window for returning students entering Fall 2027. Memorial publishes a 70% general minimum and program-level competitive language instead — for example, Nursing names 70% as the minimum acceptable Grade 11 average while stating that applicants should have 85% or higher to be competitive. The claim needs updating. Memorial's own undergraduate page now says only that it offers affordable tuition rates in Canada for both Canadian and international students — not that it is the cheapest.
