MUN Campus Guide: Metrobus, MUNnels and Parking Rates
Memorial University's main campus is in St. John's, and tunnels and skywalks called the MUNnels can get you across it in under 10 minutes. There's no U-Pass: Metrobus sells a Student Semester Pass for $275 for four months. Parking permits for 2026-27 cost from $59.93 to $155.83 a semester before HST, depending on the lot.

Memorial's campuses
On the St. John's campus, the University Centre has a food court, the bookstore, a post office and the main transit stop.

Metrobus
- The Student Semester Pass costs $275 and covers a fall, winter or summer term of four months. It's for registered post-secondary students, and drivers may ask for your student ID.
- Metrobus uses an mCard or exact cash. Drivers don't carry change, and cards aren't accepted on board.
- A new mCard has a one-time $5 activation fee. You can buy and reload one at The Attic in the University Centre.

- Rates run May 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027 and don't include HST. Monthly permits are also sold.
- An evening and weekend permit costs $75 a year, and pay-per-use parking costs $1.75 an hour.
- The St. John's campus has about 3,500 spaces in more than 40 lots.
