Before you register

  • Set up your @mun.ca email and MUN Login ID.
  • New students should follow a sample first-year program and check degree requirements in the university Calendar.
  • In Student Self-Service, open Registration, then Prepare for Registration, and pick the term. Three green boxes and an open registration window mean you can register. A red box means a hold or status problem, or that your window hasn't opened yet.

Adding courses

  • Open Register for Classes and choose the term.
  • Search on the Find Classes tab (Advanced Search can show open sections only), or type course reference numbers (CRNs) on the Enter CRNs tab.
  • Added courses show as Pending until you click Submit.
  • For a lecture with a lab, click View Linked, then Add All, so both register together.
  • To swap sections without losing your seat, use Conditional Add and Drop.
