Toronto Metropolitan University application deadlines for Fall 2027

Put the Ontario deadline and TMU's date on separate lines. January 15, 2027 is when current Ontario high school applicants in OUAC Group A should submit their completed form. TMU then gives February 1, 2027 for equal consideration. Complete applications and changes received by that school date get the same consideration. For your Grade 12 plan, submit through OUAC by January 15. Use the time before February to finish the school tasks that apply to you.

TMU's dated calendar needs a careful read. Its February 1, 2027 row title says Fall 2027 admission, readmission or reinstatement. The description underneath still says Fall 2026. That's a real cycle mismatch, so we show it in the table. The separate admissions page clearly labels Fall 2027 and confirms February 1. The calendar defaults to end of business day. It doesn't give a clock time or time zone for that row. Don't assume a midnight deadline.

The September 17, 2026 opening comes from OUAC's startup schedule. It's a scheduled opening, subject to change, and wasn't tested in a live application. Our direct OUAC request returned 403. February 1 isn't a promise that all programs stay open until a later final day. TMU's availability list separates first-year entry from advanced standing. It also has columns for readmission and special-student status. Read across the row that matches your route. A Yes in a returning-student column doesn't mean a Grade 12 place is open. The list warns that updates can lag and availability can change fast. Check it again before you submit a late choice.

The international page explicitly gives February 1, 2027 for September entry. It says late applications, changes and supporting documents are reviewed only if space remains. That page also contains a January 2027 intake with an October 15, 2026 date. Keep those two terms apart. OUAC Group B has no shared application closing date, so other Canadian, transfer or mature applicants still need TMU's rules. Being outside Group A doesn't remove the school's document or program deadline.

Returning applicants should check the process as well as the date. The calendar's February row covers readmission and reinstatement, with the latter described for absences of at least 24 months. It also lists July 15, 2027 for special-student applications and records. That row's title says Fall 2027 while its description says Fall 2026. Ask TMU to confirm that status-specific date. A special-student row doesn't give a Grade 12 applicant a later deadline for a degree place.

Grades-Only means TMU bases the decision on academic results. Grades-Plus adds work such as a portfolio, audition or interview. The main application doesn't submit that extra work for you. Architectural Science and Image Arts: Film each confirm a Fall 2027 materials deadline of February 1 or ten business days after you apply, whichever is later. This is a rule for those materials. It doesn't give every TMU applicant ten extra days for all tasks.

Fashion, Interior Design and Photography Media Arts print that same relative deadline for Fall 2027. Each has its own contents and upload steps. A file made for one degree may not meet another degree's instructions. Fashion's page also prints older Winter intake dates, so check the Fall label before saving a date. Use the Architectural Science guide or Film requirements guide for the full task list. You create your own work and write your own responses.

Professional Music adds a task that depends on other people. Its two reference forms must be submitted along with the required non-academic work. The program gives the same February 1, 2027 or ten-business-day rule. It doesn't print a later shared referee deadline. Enter contact details accurately so the portal can send the forms. Ask each referee to check junk mail if nothing arrives. Your portfolio upload alone doesn't mean those reference forms are complete.

Acting and Dance also use the February 1, 2027 or ten-business-day rule for initial materials. Their live stages add personal dates. Dance confirms in-person auditions begin in January 2027. Your invitation lets you choose a date, and the required records and assessment payment must be complete before you attend. Acting calls selected candidates back between late February and April. That window is yearless, so it isn't a fixed 2027 appointment. Save the actual invitation instead of using an offer-release month as your audition day.

Midwifery's program page confirms February 1, 2027 for both the application and its non-academic form. It doesn't print the ten-business-day option used by several creative programs. The department also says applications and required documents must arrive by February 1. Those department sentences are yearless. Treat the dated form rule as firm and ask about any missing record early. The program limits entry to Canadian citizens or permanent residents. An international availability list doesn't override that rule.

The interview is a later step for selected candidates. TMU sends the invitation through ChooseTMU. You must accept it by the deadline in that message. If you don't, the department can offer the interview place to someone else. No exact Fall 2027 interview days were confirmed in these sources. The central page suggests late-April first offers, while the department says early May. Both are yearless. Collaborative Nursing is Grades-Only, and TMU says Casper isn't required. Don't book a test just because another university's Nursing course needs it. The current program page names TMU and Centennial College. Its Fall availability list shows both entry sites at this check. Choose the actual site you want to attend. The TMU Nursing guide explains that route in more detail. February 1 equal consideration still applies to the application; it's not a separate Nursing test deadline.

The older 2026-2027 calendar also names George Brown College in the partnership. That description doesn't establish that a new George Brown site accepts Fall 2027 applications. We keep the older calendar label and use the current entry list for the application task. Prior Nursing study also changes your route. The collaborative page limits consideration to first-year entry without prior post-secondary Nursing study. A transfer applicant shouldn't assume that an advanced Nursing pathway shares this application process or its dates.

Current Ontario high school grades go from your guidance office to OUAC. Tell guidance about courses taken elsewhere, including online or night school. If you've attended college or university, even for one course, TMU also needs that record. Other applicants can upload unofficial records in ChooseTMU for assessment. TMU asks for official records after admission. Plan those two stages separately. An uploaded copy can support review without meeting the final official-transcript condition in your offer.

The portal shows which documents TMU has received. Read each request against the file you sent instead of assuming the main form finished everything. Required non-academic work must arrive by its own deadline or the file is incomplete. The Ontario page also gives a yearless June 30 rule for finishing admission requirements, unless the offer says otherwise. It has a summer-school extension request. We don't turn that into a new dated 2027 promise. Contact TMU if you need permission to finish later.

TMU's prestigious entrance-award form opens November 2, 2026. It closes February 16, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. This is a confirmed Fall 2027 award window. You can apply before receiving admission once you have your TMU Student Number and have set up access. The award page rules out late applications, even if you have technical trouble. Give yourself time to check that all required parts were sent. Don't use the admissions application as proof that you entered an award.

Automatic entrance scholarships follow different terms. Their current eligibility list includes a correct, complete admission application by September 1, 2027. That's an award condition, not a new deadline for all TMU degrees. It won't reopen a closed program or excuse a missed portfolio. Winter's International Student Leadership Award also has its own dates. Read the TMU financial-aid guide to sort automatic awards from those with forms. Then save the deadline for the exact award you can apply for.

The admitted-student page now says residence applications open in February 2027 and close in June 2027. Those are confirmed months. The exact opening day and June cutoff aren't yet published in the checked housing calendar. That calendar still shows the 2026-2027 cycle: February 2 opening and June 4 initial deadline in 2026. Its first offers went out June 12, 2026. Use those dates only to understand last year's steps. Don't copy them into a Fall 2027 calendar.

Housing also has a separate payment and offer process. The old first-round acceptance and first-instalment date is June 25, 2026. No new Fall 2027 day is confirmed here. Later accommodation offers use their own expiry for payment. A tuition deposit doesn't pay the residence application fee or accept a room. Start with the TMU residence guide, then read your accommodation offer. If you apply after the initial housing deadline, the older rules put you lower on the priority list.

TMU says Grade 11 results may support early admission. It doesn't publish a separate shared early-admission deadline on the pages checked here. Its decision guide is yearless and rolling. Most Grades-Only decisions arrive between February and the end of May. Grades-Plus first rounds vary: Interior Design and Professional Music list February, while Film and Architecture list mid-March. These are guides that can change. A friend hearing first doesn't set a deadline for your own file.

For on-time Group A files, OUAC gives May 28, 2027 as the latest response day. A response can be an offer, refusal or deferral while more information is needed. June 1 is the earliest you may be required to reply or make a financial commitment. Your TMU offer sets its own expiry. The Ontario offer-timing guide compares the wider cycle. Accept using the same application route you used to apply and keep the confirmation.

TMU separately confirms June 3, 2027 for its tuition deposit, unless your offer gives a different date. Payment can take three to five business days to reach the account. Check receipt instead of relying on the day you sent it. The school says a missed payment can cancel your place. You can ask ServiceHub about reactivation, but space must remain and late payment may be refused. This deposit deadline is separate from accepting the offer and from paying for residence.

Check your exact TMU degree and entry route now. For a creative program, read its Fall 2027 materials page before planning your upload. For Midwifery, save the fixed form date and keep watching for the interview message. If you want a prestigious award, plan for November 2. Keep the TMU university hub beside your calendar, and set November 1 to check the pending housing dates and source differences again.
