Course requirements
Ontario students need an Ontario diploma with six Grade 12 U or M courses, including English (ENG4U). For the BComm you also need Advanced Functions (MHF4U) or Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U). Students at French schools can use Français 4U in place of English.
Other provinces follow the same idea: English plus a pre-calculus or calculus course. For example, Alberta asks for Math 30-1 or Math 31, and British Columbia asks for Pre-Calculus 12 or Calculus 12. Plan your courses with our course planner.

Supplementary application
John Molson lists no essay, interview or supplementary form for high school students. Mature and home schooled applicants are different. They send a letter of intent and other documents.
Concordia asks every applicant to use all three program choices. Put your John Molson major first. It suggests a second choice in another faculty, such as the BA in Economics, and the Certificate in Foundations for Business as a third.
Other school systems have their own lines. IB Career-related Programme students need 4.8 out of 7. French Baccalaureate students need 13 out of 20 overall and in math. British system students need two A levels at C, with a C in math. SAT and ACT scores are not required.

If you are not admitted directly
If John Molson does not admit you, you can start in the BA program or the Certificate in Foundations for Business. There you can finish missing courses or raise your grades, then apply to transfer in.
Credits you earn outside John Molson, including the certificate, carry over to your BComm, with some limits. Internal transfers need a 2.7 grade point average overall and in math, plus the first year economics and math courses.

For parents
The B average is lower than at many Ontario business schools. The bigger factors are cost and time. Out of province tuition is about four times the Quebec rate, and the degree can run 120 credits instead of 90.
Montreal living costs and French in daily life also matter. Compare with our McGill Management page, the Concordia admissions overview and the Concordia guide.
