2026–2027 tuition and Fall 2027 award dates
A Carleton funding plan should keep tuition, automatic entrance scholarships, competitive Prestige Scholarships, need-based bursaries, OSAP, co-op cash flow, and living costs separate. The official fee tables vary materially by program and residency.

The current 2026–2027 table applies to eligible students entering Carleton directly from high school or CEGEP. Carleton assesses the marks submitted for admission; the offer is not reassessed on final high-school grades. Recheck the award table for Fall 2027 before relying on these values.

Direct answers based on Carleton's current tuition, scholarship, bursary, OSAP, and international-student sources.
For a full-time first-year Ontario undergraduate, Carleton's published fall-and-winter totals including compulsory miscellaneous fees are $7,624.02 for Arts, $10,772.94 for Computer Science, $11,316.96 for Architectural Studies, and $11,920.48 for Commerce. The corresponding international totals are $41,383.68, $57,397.12, $57,458.68, and $47,608.68. Exact fees depend on program, residency, course load, year, and account adjustments; housing, food, books, and personal costs are separate.
Carleton's Awards Office currently publishes a 2026–2027 renewable entrance-scholarship table starting at 80%: $1,000 per year at 80%–84.9%, $2,000 at 85%–89.9%, $3,000 at 90%–94.9%, and $4,000 at 95%–100%. However, Carleton's newer undergraduate admissions scholarship summary says automatic consideration starts at 85%. Because the official pages conflict and the detailed Fall 2027 table is not yet published, verify the live offer and Awards Office table rather than assuming the 80% tier will apply. The current renewal standard is a 10.0 annual GPA.
Carleton lists March 1, 2027 for the Prestige Scholarship, May 1 for the Leadership Entrance Bursary, June 15 for receipt of a complete admission application and required grades for automatic entrance-scholarship consideration, and June 30 for the Entrance Bursary. Other donor and program awards have their own dates.
The latest published values are $32,000 for a Chancellor's Scholarship, $21,500 for a Richard Lewar Entrance Scholarship, $20,000 for the Scholarship of Excellence, SHAD, and Jay Woo and CAA awards, and Canadian domestic full tuition for the Riordon and Collins awards. The latest detailed table is for 2026–2027, so Fall 2027 applicants should verify values before applying. Eligibility currently requires at least 90% plus leadership and extracurricular involvement.
Yes. Eligible international high-school students can be assessed for the same renewable entrance-scholarship tiers. International undergraduates applying for September 2027 are also automatically considered for the one-time President's Welcome Award worth $2,000–$5,000, which Carleton says can be added to other Entrance or Prestige awards. Program-specific awards may also apply.
Yes. Most Carleton undergraduate degree programs are approved for OSAP. Students apply separately through the Ontario OSAP portal and should use Carleton's current study-period and course-load guidance. Co-op registration changes can affect government-aid eligibility, so funded co-op students should consult Carleton Awards and Financial Aid before changing their schedule.
