Admissions Planning
Fall 2027 admissions update
Carleton University admission requirements and deadlines
Ontario high-school applicants need an OSSD and six Grade 12 4U or 4M courses. Required prerequisites must be at the 4U level, normally with no individual prerequisite below 60%, but the courses and competitive average change by program. Carleton has published its Fall 2027 application calendar; it has not yet published a complete 2027–2028 academic-calendar requirements table.
Ontario OUAC deadline
January 15, 2027
Some programs use the earlier March 1 program deadline and March 5 material deadline as well.
Ontario academic base
OSSD + six 4U/M
Co-op work-experience credits are not counted among the six admission courses.
Offer assessment
Rolling from mid-fall
Portfolio and supplementary programs are assessed after the applicable submission deadline.
Read the averages correctly
Current offer conditions are not Fall 2027 admission cut-offs
The values below are Carleton's latest published 2026–2027 conditions for keeping an Ontario high-school offer. They are useful planning floors, but they do not guarantee Fall 2027 entry. Carleton says its current calendar covers 2026–2027 only, and competitive admission averages can be higher when a program fills.
