Start with OSAP
Several Ontario grants in the first table come through your OSAP application, so apply even if you're not sure you qualify. The “How you apply” line under each one says whether it's automatic.
Our OSAP guide covers who qualifies and when to apply.
Group awards need a little more
Most group awards ask you to self-identify in your university application or a separate form. Some want an essay or a reference. Read the official page early, because the dates often fall in the winter of Grade 12.
Our group guides list national awards too: Black students, Indigenous students, first-generation students and students with disabilities.
Still in Grade 12?
The general entrance awards at Ontario universities, and the national awards you can apply for now, are on Ontario scholarships for Grade 12. This page doesn't repeat them.
How this list works
Every award here comes from the same checked list as our Scholarship Finder. Each record links to the provider's own page and shows the day we last checked it. We never copy award details from aggregator sites.
Awards that are closed for this cycle are left out of the tables. They come back when the provider posts new dates. Dates refresh on their own, so a passed date drops off the page.
A listing isn't a promise that you qualify. Each provider sets its own rules and picks its own winners. Read the official page before you apply.
