Check the engineering faculty's own page

Engineering faculties often run awards that the main scholarships page doesn't show. Look for an “awards” or “scholarships” link on the faculty's admissions page for every school on your list.

Some faculty awards are automatic when you apply. Others use one shared form with a winter date and reference letters. The “How you apply” line under each award says which.

  • Keep a list of your robotics, coding or design projects with dates and your role.
  • Ask a math or science teacher for a reference at least three weeks before the date.

Don't stop at program awards

Program awards are a short list. Most of the money for first-year students comes from entrance awards open to every program. See entrance scholarships with no application and major national awards.

The Scholarship Finder ranks every award in our list for you. The “Find awards that fit you” button below opens it with engineering already picked.

How this list works

Every award here comes from the same checked list as our Scholarship Finder. Each record links to the provider's own page and shows the day we last checked it. We never copy award details from aggregator sites.

Awards that are closed for this cycle are left out of the tables. They come back when the provider posts new dates. Dates refresh on their own, so a passed date drops off the page.

A listing isn't a promise that you qualify. Each provider sets its own rules and picks its own winners. Read the official page before you apply.
