York University application deadlines for Fall 2027

York's March 24 date gives many applicants outside Ontario a later main deadline. It isn't a later date for every York choice. A student at an Ontario high school should start with January 15. A student at a high school in another province should start with March 24, then read the exceptions. International, transfer and mature groups also have March 24 for most programs. The class start matters too. November 18, 2026 is for Winter 2027, not the next September intake.

The application page treats Schulich BBA and Social Work differently. Both stop taking main applications after January 15. A note about review until programs fill doesn't overrule those limits. BBA doesn't admit external transfers or mature applicants. York delayed entry is a separate route. Use the York hub to check the degree you mean. York's BCom and Schulich's BBA are different choices. For optional Early Consideration, send your BBA choice through OUAC by November 6, 2026. Finish the supplement by November 23 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. You need both steps for that review group. Schulich says the early route changes when it may assess your file. It doesn't change how it judges you. It still needs enough Grade 12 marks to make a decision. Missing the early dates won't disadvantage you if you meet the regular dates.

The regular BBA form closes January 15, 2027. Its supplement closes February 1 at 11:59 p.m. ET for all Fall 2027 BBA applicants. The opening wording conflicts: the FAQ says October 15, while the BBA page says November. Use the emailed invitation to access your task. For applications after October 10, Schulich says to allow up to ten business days for that invitation. Check spam before contacting its admissions team. The Schulich Masters Pathway, or SMP, is a separate choice alongside an eligible York degree. It offers conditional entry to later graduate study. Its page opens the form December 1, 2026 and closes it March 29, 2027 at 11:59 p.m., without a time zone. York's central table instead says March 6 for high school groups and marks transfer/mature as not applicable. The pathway page includes transfer instructions. Ask Schulich about the date and your group before relying on either row.

Concurrent Education uses January 15, 2027 for current Ontario high school applicants. They select their degree and Direct Entry BEd together with one OUAC code. Current high school applicants outside Ontario have February 1 for the application. They also send the Direct Entry Concurrent Form after they receive a York reference number. High school graduates who haven't attended any postsecondary school must send that form too. Its deadline is February 1, 2027. Don't use the general March 24 row for this pathway. The next stage has a live date conflict. York's main table and faculty page say March 19, 2027 for the supplement. The faculty also names that day for online recommendations. The program's requirements say March 20 for the form and fee. Ask Education which date controls your file and references. You can set a personal target before March 19 without pretending that resolves the source conflict. Give your referees the official link and enough time to submit their own letters.

York confirms February 5, 2027 for the named arts supplements in the table. That list includes Production and Screenwriting, plus Dance, Design, Music, Visual Arts Studio and Theatre Performance Creation. Creative Writing also has February 5. For AMPD, the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design, this is the guaranteed-consideration deadline. Later review depends on space. Your audition or portfolio review may need its own booking. Don't assume submitting the main OUAC form books that appointment for you.

AMPD's own table also gives February 5 for the main application from international and college or university transfer applicants. That differs from the central March 24 most-program row. Its Ontario main date stays January 15. Ask the faculty which date applies to your arts choice. The faculty prints the supplement time as '11:59 EST' without saying a.m. or p.m. Don't fill in that missing part yourself. Other Canadian high school and mature applicants lack a separate row in that faculty table.

Social Work's February 16, 2027 supplement row is for transfer and mature applicants. Its high school columns say it doesn't apply. York also says Canadian high school applicants don't need that supplement. The central page won't accept late Social Work documents after the deadline. This is stricter than AMPD's space-based wording. If you're changing a York choice, check the new degree's tasks before you switch. The York Social Work guide keeps first-year and transfer entry separate.

Lassonde calls Boost an optional co-application. Its current page says invitations arrive from late February to mid-March. Wait-listed Engineering applicants may get theirs from late April to early May. Those windows have no cycle year. No shared exact Fall 2027 closing day was confirmed here. The school says your deadline depends on when it receives your application. Save the invitation's target with your Engineering choice. Don't borrow the February 1 Schulich deadline just because both tasks add context beyond marks.

Boost can also connect to your Engineering Program Guarantee choices. Follow every step in the faculty email, even if you already have an Engineering offer. Keep the central York application date in your calendar while you wait for Boost instructions. An optional task with a later invitation doesn't make your original application optional or extend its closing date.

York strongly encourages you to send documents within two weeks of applying. That's a yearless recommendation on its applied page, not one fixed Fall 2027 document deadline for everyone. MyFile shows the items your file needs. If you're still in school, send the requested current transcript with course enrolment and marks to date. Don't add papers the school hasn't asked for. York warns that extra, unneeded files can slow review. Program supplements still go through their own faculty process.

Final grades have a different role. The admitted page gives August 15 for most Fall entrants, with June 30 for BBA and Direct Entry Nursing. It also gives June 30 for Second Entry Nursing requirements. Schulich's FAQ instead says July 1 for completed courses and final marks. These yearless rules conflict for BBA; none confirms Fall 2027 here. Ask about your offer's conditions. Ontario high school final grades normally come through your school. Other applicants follow York's rules for official documents from the issuing school.

York's international award timeline opens November 1, 2026. It recommends applying for admission by January 19, 2027 so your reference number can arrive in time. That recommendation can matter even if your degree's main date is March 24. The PISE student guide gives January 27 at 11:59 p.m. EST for the award form. It gives February 4 at the same time for the nomination and reference. The incoming-awards card instead says January 26. Ask the award office about that conflict.

Domestic award guidance is less settled for the new cycle. The December 1 opening, some February 15 deadlines and April 1 close have no year. Keep them as planning references until York confirms your competition. Its dated list gives January 27 and February 17, 2027 for Schulich Leader nomination and application. Science Scholars has February 20, 2027. Read the award name carefully: Schulich Leader is a STEM scholarship, not the BBA supplement. The York financial-aid guide explains the funding routes.

The checked housing guarantee page still names Fall 2026. It gives June 1, 2026 for Canadian and international students at Ontario high schools. It gives May 1, 2026 for both groups at high schools outside Ontario. Those dates aren't Fall 2027 deadlines. The school also ties eligibility to accepting admission by the required day. Don't assume citizenship alone picks your housing row. In the published rules, where you attended high school changes the date as well.

Open York Housing's Apply for Residence page for the current application link. No exact Fall 2027 opening day or shared residence deposit day was confirmed on the checked public pages. Accept a residence offer by the deadline in that letter. Keep the housing payment apart from a tuition or enrolment deposit in your notes. York's admitted page still has mixed 2025 and 2026 housing wording. Use the York residence guide for campus options and recheck the official guarantee before relying on it.

York says Ontario high school decisions run from December to the end of June. That window has no year. Its applied page estimates four weeks after required documents arrive, while its FAQ says six. Neither estimate promises you an offer in that time. For on-time OUAC Group A applicants, the confirmed 2027 response date is May 28. A response may be an offer, a refusal or a deferral for more information. June 1 is the earliest required reply or financial commitment date for this group.

Other applicant groups should read the reply date in their York offer. Don't assume the Ontario Group A rule extends your own letter. Schulich's dated schedule puts early offers in December 2026 to January 2027 and regular offers from March to the end of May 2027. No early offer doesn't mean an early rejection. Our Ontario offer-timing guide compares school windows. When you accept through OUAC, keep the confirmation number. York says MyFile and OUAC can take one or two business days to line up.

Choose your York degree and September 2027 entry first. Then make a line for each step you need. For Schulich early review, put both November dates on that list. For Education, note the earlier outside-Ontario application rule and ask about March 19 versus March 20. If you need a nomination, contact your school before working on the award form. Keep a copy of each submission receipt beside its task. A saved draft isn't the same as a completed submission.

Recheck unresolved dates on November 1, 2026, then when York sends new instructions. Keep old housing and yearless award dates labelled so you don't mistake them for confirmed cutoffs. If you miss a main deadline, ask admissions whether your specific program still accepts files. Schulich and Social Work have hard limits; other programs can fill.
