For the published Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 cycle: the York International Scholarship of Distinction is worth up to $37,500 at a 90%+ average, the Merit Award up to $25,000 at 80%–89.9%, and the Entrance Award $5,000 one time at 75%–79.9%. Renewable awards require at least 24 credits and a 7.5 York GPA. The competitive President's International Scholarship of Excellence is currently $180,000 paid as $45,000 per year.

York has not yet confirmed the Fall 2027 tiers, exclusions, or the PISE deadline; the January 26, 2026 date belongs to the 2026–2027 cycle.

FAAS and entrance-award application windows

York's Financial Aid, Awards and Scholarships (FAAS) App opens August 1 for enrolled students, who should complete the Student Profile and Need Assessment by October 15, 2026 and meet the February 15, 2027 York Undergraduate Bursary date. Future domestic applicants use the entrance-award application in MyFile from December 1 to April 1, with some awards due as early as February 15. OSAP remains a separate Ontario government application.
