AC254 and AC257 were listed as walk-in large-group rooms for up to twelve people each. The page also identified automatic door openers at AC251A, AC252, AC285 and AC284. A walk-in room is different from a reserved room, so decide whether your group needs a reserved slot or can use an available larger space. Confirm the current room rules and access features before your study date.

UTSC separately identifies lower-campus Valley facilities at 130 Old Kingston Road, including multi-sport fields, an eight-court tennis centre and the Dan Lang baseball diamond. A full-size soccer field also sits beside TPASC. Locate the facility for your activity before visiting rather than assuming every field or court is inside the Pan Am centre.

At this section's September 28, 2026 review, UTSC said Valley field rentals were unavailable for the 2026 season because of field maintenance. That notice does not say every Valley facility is closed. Check the live Valley page before planning field use or a rental.

UTSC's drop-in page also distinguishes university drop-ins from TPASC Inc. and City of Toronto sessions. UTSC drop-ins do not require advance registration. TPASC All Access drop-ins require advance booking, with reservations opening 48 hours before the session. TPASC Inc. and City sessions may cost extra. A rail journey can still involve a bus connection and a walk to your building. Compare the journey for early classes, gaps between classes and an evening club or recreation session. Include the return trip in your decision, not just the fastest arrival you can find.
