Regina Psychology admission requirements for Fall 2027
For Fall 2027 planning, Regina Psychology's current regular faculty-entry minimum is 70%. The BA follows Arts school requirements. The BSc follows Science requirements, including Advanced Functions for Ontario applicants. Both study behaviour through evidence. Later honours selection uses university grades and research preparation, so its 80% thresholds aren't Grade 12 admission cutoffs.

Regina Psychology: school entry and later research selection
A faculty offer and acceptance into an honours research project are different decisions.

Choose the faculty route behind the Psychology degree
Regina offers a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with honours options for both. The current program page describes four-year bachelor's degrees. Arts and Science provide different broader course requirements around the study of behaviour. Choose the route whose full course plan you want to follow. The word Psychology on both degrees does not make the school subject lists identical.
The BA gives you an Arts foundation around the Psychology major. The BSc adds more science study. Both involve evidence and research skills. A BA is not a way to avoid methods or statistics, and a BSc is not an automatic professional clinical qualification. Look at the required classes before deciding from a future job title. Further graduate admission is a separate application after undergraduate study.
The Regina university hub explains the wider institution. The Arts entry guide and Science entry guide own the broad faculty rules. This page brings those routes together for the Psychology decision, then separates later honours research. It does not create a new Psychology-specific school cutoff when the checked sources publish faculty minima.

Use Arts subjects for the BA and Science subjects for the BSc
Ontario BA applicants follow the current Arts list: ENG4U, two approved maths, science or social science courses, and one further approved 4U or 4M course. U means university preparation; M means university/college preparation. The required pair is narrower than the wider approved-course table. Ask before replacing a core subject with a language simply because languages appear elsewhere in that table.
For the BSc, the Science list names ENG4U and MHF4U, Advanced Functions. It then requires two named maths or sciences. Biology is among them, alongside Calculus and Vectors, Chemistry, Earth and Space Science and Physics. The list does not make Biology the only allowed science. Keep the maximum of two different maths courses in view when checking the full assessed set.
The checked BA list does not require a high school Psychology course. Your degree can still contain quantitative and scientific work after entry. Use the school course planner to compare the BA and BSc with other universities. If you want to keep both routes open, preserve the subjects the BSc needs. Record each faculty's exact subject names; Regina decides whether an unusual course is accepted.

Keep 70% faculty entry separate from later honours grades
The regular faculty minimum is currently 70% for both routes. That is not a published Fall 2027 Psychology class average. It also is not an 80% school cutoff. The higher percentages on the department's honours page refer to university program and major GPAs. A student reading both pages needs to match each number to the stage of study it describes.
Arts and Science have different qualifying routes below regular entry. Current domestic Arts guidance gives 60% to 69.99% with the required subjects. The dated calendar ends its printed Arts band at 69%. Science describes 65% to 69.99% with all subjects, or a missing-subject route at 70% on remaining courses. Ask the faculty which conditions apply; qualifying status does not reserve a later honours place.
The latest calendar flags Fall 2027 school-admission changes, but its linked four-course chart returned 404. Current faculty web lists remain readable. We retain their present subject patterns while naming the older edition and the unavailable chart. Recheck on November 1, 2026 before relying on a qualifying assessment. Our Top 6 calculator does not replace Regina's current four-course faculty assessment.

Read the degree core rather than treating the BA as maths-free
The 2026-27 BA plan includes PSYC 101 and PSYC 102, along with methods and statistics courses such as PSYC 204 and PSYC 305. It also has Arts core requirements outside the major. Those course numbers are dated planning references. They show why interest in people must be matched with a willingness to examine evidence, work with data and explain research clearly.
You can study several perspectives, including cognition, development, social behaviour and the brain. They lead to different kinds of research questions. Think about which methods you would enjoy learning, not just which topic sounds familiar. The university's program page describes the BSc as requiring more science courses. Read its Science core alongside the Psychology courses before choosing the route or dropping senior science preparation.
Course choice also affects later options. A prerequisite can matter even when it was not a condition for faculty admission. Ask academic advising how your first-year plan leads toward the courses you may want next. Use the calendar that applies when you register. A current course list is useful evidence of the degree's shape, but it is not a guaranteed timetable for a Fall 2027 entrant.

Understand the later competitive honours application
The current department page requires at least 80% in both program and major GPAs, at least 60 credit hours, and completion of the relevant Arts or Science core. Applicants also submit the required form, a letter of intent and unofficial university transcripts. The page describes an optional diversity statement. These are undergraduate research-selection tasks, not a supplement assigned to every Grade 12 Psychology applicant.
The 2026-27 calendar adds a later checkpoint before beginning honours. It requires 90 completed credits, the required PSYC 200-level courses and PSYC 305 by August 31. The 60-credit floor for applying and the 90-credit checkpoint serve different purposes. Neither should be converted into a high school condition. A supervisor and research place remain subject to the department's competitive process.
February 1 is the annual honours application date on the checked instructions. The department also lists possible supervisors for 2027-28, subject to change. That list concerns research students for that academic year. It does not confirm a first-year Fall 2027 supplement deadline or the rules when today's Grade 12 applicant eventually seeks honours. Recheck the department and calendar at that later stage and write assessed responses yourself.

Match other curricula and language evidence to your faculty
Saskatchewan BA applicants use the Arts English and approved-subject pattern. BSc applicants use Science's English, Pre-Calculus and named maths/science subjects. The current pages allow listed French substitutions for eligible school streams. Do not move a subject choice between the two faculties simply because the same Psychology department teaches the major. Check the faculty shown on your own application.
International students need the country credential and the subjects for the chosen faculty. The Arts and Science international guides have separate lists. Language proficiency is another check, using Regina's current test or prior-study routes. A school English course does not automatically establish an exemption. Ask about mixed curricula and submit the requested records rather than making your own grade conversion or assuming the university will ignore earlier study.
The program is listed through Regina and its named federated colleges. Arts Student Services directs students admitted through a federated college to that college's advising. Use the appropriate office for course and degree questions. The department's graduate pages concern a later stage and retain their own dated notices. Do not use a graduate Clinical Psychology deadline to plan a first-entry BA or BSc application.

Apply through Regina and budget with the correct year
Apply through Regina's own system. Standing domestic fall instructions give March 15 for early application and August 15 for final application. Early conditional domestic final records are due August 1 under the current guide. These pages do not attach an intake year. International August 15 closing is subject to volume, with advice to apply at least three months ahead and different conditional-document instructions. Follow your personal checklist.
The ordinary school-entry sources list no Psychology essay, portfolio, interview or Casper requirement. Honours forms come later. Regina has a wider co-op system, but a faculty offer is not a guaranteed Psychology work placement. Ask which paid work or course-based experience fits your BA or BSc plan. Keep honours research and future graduate clinical training separate from a promised undergraduate co-op job.
The sample domestic cost page is labelled 2026-27 and varies with faculty and registered credits. It does not confirm Fall 2027 tuition or an international bill. Read the Regina funding section, residence planning and Canadian deadline comparison. Next, choose the faculty route and verify its subject set. Recheck yearless dates, the unavailable chart and future fees on November 1, 2026.
