Brock admissions · What’s public and what isn’t
Brock University Acceptance Rate: What Official Data Shows
Brock University does not publish an acceptance rate or admission rate. When we tried to check whether its institutional-research office or Common University Data Ontario (CUDO) publish the application and offer counts that would let anyone calculate one, every single brocku.ca page we requested — including the plain homepage — came back blocked. Here is exactly what Brock does and doesn’t make public, plus its current 70% minimum and program-by-program competitive averages.
Reviewed August 25, 2026 · Every brocku.ca page requested that day returned HTTP 403 with Cloudflare’s bot-challenge header — not a permanent guarantee it will stay that way
What official counts exist — and what doesn’t
Brock’s institutional-research office renamed itself Institutional Planning, Analysis & Performance (IPAP) after a September 2025 site relaunch, and site search shows it references a “Brock facts” sheet and a Common University Data Ontario (CUDO) reporting page — the kind of pages that would carry application, offer, or registrant counts. Fetched live on August 25, 2026, every one of those pages returned HTTP 403 with a Cloudflare “bot-challenge” response header, so we could not read what they currently contain.
This wasn’t limited to one dashboard or one report. Every brocku.ca URL requested that day was blocked, including the bare brocku.ca homepage and the three admissions pages this guide otherwise reuses figures from — confirmed with two separate fetch methods and two different user agents. The province-wide CUDO portal (ontariosuniversities.ca) also returned a blocked HTTP 403 response, the same result the Carleton and Wilfrid Laurier acceptance-rate guides recorded for that portal. Rather than substitute an unofficial number, this guide reports plainly that no official application, offer, or registrant count from Brock could be independently verified today.
What actually determines Brock admission
Brock publishes a general 70% minimum and a current competitive average by program instead of one university-wide acceptance rate. These figures were last independently verified 2026-08-14; today’s live re-check could not reconfirm them because brocku.ca returned a blocked response for every page requested. Brock states these levels are approximate and that meeting one does not guarantee admission.

- Institutional Planning, Analysis & Performance (institutional research office)

Site search shows it now operates as "Institutional Planning, Analysis & Performance" (IPAP) after a September 2025 relaunch, with sub-pages referencing a "Brock facts" sheet and CUDO reporting. The office's own homepage returned HTTP 403 (Cloudflare bot challenge) when fetched live August 25, 2026, so none of its content — including whether it publishes application, offer, or acceptance-rate figures — could be confirmed. No figure from it appears on this page.
