The flat fee covers a session, while the bill is assessed by term

Brock's flat tuition starts at 4.0 attempted credits across the fall and winter session. The fee table's full-session amount is then assessed by term using your credit weight. It is not a second full charge to add in January. Below the threshold, per-credit tuition applies. Check the session total and how courses fall across the two terms before comparing your balance with a friend's.

Some programs have their own assessment rule. Concurrent Education and Nursing always use per-credit tuition and are excluded from the flat-fee rule. Sport Management belongs in a professional price group, even though it sits beside Arts and Science in the schedule. Use the Brock program pages to confirm the degree name, then select that fee row. A university-wide average can miss those differences.

International entrants need their own cohort and residence group

Brock's international table separates the entry year and students who reside in the USA. The main table above uses the 2026 entry cohort for students outside that USA group. That rate can be held for up to five academic years for the first degree. It does not set the starting price of a student entering in Fall 2027. A later cohort still needs its own published row.

The USA table on the current page is headed SP/SU 2026. We do not turn that label into a confirmed Fall 2027 quote. Ask Brock to confirm the table and entry term that apply to you. Also allow for the $750 recovery fee in one fall or winter term each academic year. It is separate from both base tuition and the per-credit ancillary fee, and should not be added in both terms.

Sources: Entry cohort, USA heading and annual recovery charge

A base-tuition quote leaves several assessed fees outside it

Brock lists a per-credit ancillary amount beside tuition, then another group of sessional charges. Our example keeps each listed charge for a new on-campus Arts/Science student. It includes the first-entry engagement levy and the transit pass. That makes the total more useful than a tuition-only figure, but it still is not a personal invoice. Program activities, co-op registration and course materials may create other charges.

Extended health and dental are charged at the qualifying domestic load and to international students regardless of load. Comparable coverage may allow an opt-out through the plan process. We assume no approved opt-out. Basic UHIP for an international student without OHIP is separate and covers September through August. The published $948 is annual. Do not add a fresh full-year premium just because winter tuition is billed later.

Keep a copy of your first assessed account and compare it with your plan. Look for your program category, credited payments and any fees that appear only once. If a line differs, ask Student Accounts and Financial Aid what triggered it. Resolve that question before removing the line from your budget. An expected adjustment is not yet money available for another bill.

Choose a room and food plan that can be bought together

Village is a townhouse option, so its residents may choose the lower-priced five-day all-access plan. Traditional and semi-suite residents must have the seven-day plan. The room table therefore pairs each room with a plan allowed for that style. Do not compare a DeCew room with the townhouse-only food price. Brock Suites has different rules and is upper-year housing, so it is outside this first-year example.

Both plans already include Meal Dollars, Flex and the infrastructure contribution. Those are not extra fees to place under the published annual price. The all-access portion buys dining-hall access, rather than a declining cash balance. It cannot be carried to next year or refunded as unused meals. Meal Dollars and Flex can carry forward under separate rules. Our Brock residence guide covers the room choices in more detail.

The room-and-food total still leaves gaps to price

The published room fee includes furnishings, utilities and wireless internet for September 2026 through April 2027. The winter closure is excluded. A student with approved special circumstances can stay for an extra $280 per week or part of a week. We have not added that charge to everyone's budget. If you need to stay, confirm both approval and the number of charged weeks before arranging travel.

The five-day dining plan also leaves weekend meals to arrange. Books, course supplies, travel and personal spending remain outside the worked total. A low room price does not fill those gaps. Put real choices into the cost calculator, then save the prices and what they include. If you will live off campus, replace the residence inputs with the actual rent, lease period, utilities and food you expect to buy.

Housing payments arrive before some funding

The 2026-27 housing schedule starts with a $500 application payment, credited to residence fees. It then requires $1,000 on July 31, 2026, followed by the listed fall and winter stages. These are payments towards the room account. Our example uses the annual room price once. It does not add the application and first instalment again as new costs. Check how both credits appear before paying the next balance.

For Fall 2027, recruitment confirms June 1, 2027 for residence applications and application fees. The next-steps page says to apply before that day. Neither statement sets a new application-fee amount or a 2027-28 instalment schedule. The older payment amounts show the cash-flow steps to prepare for, rather than a price promise. Obtain the new room offer and cancellation terms before committing to housing.

International tuition deposits are a separate offer condition. Brock's next-steps page says to pay the non-refundable amount printed on your personal offer by its reply date. It does not give one amount for all students. Record that payment beside the tuition account and confirm how it is applied. Paying a housing application fee does not meet an international tuition-deposit requirement.

Brock must receive the payment by the due date

The published fall tuition date is September 9, 2026. The winter table prints January 4, 2027 under a Winter Term 2026 label. We retain that label error; the 2026-27 residence payment schedule separately confirms January 4, 2027. These dates are useful for the current budget, not as Fall 2027 deadlines. Your Student Financial History shows the due balance after you register and when new fees are added.

Domestic online banking takes two to five business days. The approved international payment routes ask for five or more business days. Sending money on the final day can therefore leave a late balance. CIBC card payments have a separate charge disclosed before the payment is made. Check that fee with the provider, and pay university charges through the methods Brock lists rather than sending extra living funds to the school.

The dedicated overdue policy lists 1.5% monthly interest on unpaid balances. Regular transfers from your bank do not by themselves change a tuition deadline. The checked payment page does not give a general monthly tuition arrangement, and the Registrar's detailed payment-plan FAQ could not be read in full during this check. Ask Student Accounts for an approved arrangement before depending on instalments; do not plan around an assumed extension.

A course withdrawal may not lower flat tuition

Brock counts courses registered or withdrawn after the drop date as attempted credits. If you have attempted at least 4.0 credits in fall and winter, withdrawing from one does not reduce the flat-fee total. The account may still shift amounts between terms as credit weights change. Check the new due balance after the change. A different academic record does not always mean a smaller bill.

The undergraduate withdrawal PDF applies to loads of 3.5 credits or less and excludes flat-fee students. Its dates vary with the course duration code. Do not use the graduate table on the same refunds website for an undergraduate course. Dropping every course during the drop period also has a charge of $100 per credit, capped at $500. Speak with Student Accounts before leaving all courses, even during add/drop.

Refunds need a net account credit after pending changes clear. Brock does not process them during add/drop or certain reporting closures. Aid recipients have a further review, and an OSAP overpayment may be returned to the loan service centre. Stopping attendance or payment does not withdraw you. Complete the formal course steps and check the room agreement separately if you also plan to leave residence.

Keep the 2026 award grid separate from the 2027 OneApp date

For 2026 entrants, domestic Brock Scholars first-year awards are $1,500 at 85.0 to 89.9%, $3,500 at 90.0 to 94.9%, and $5,500 at 95% and above. The final average can change the award. USA entrants use the domestic award grid. The first-year amount is different from the larger maximum available with later renewals. The values are subject to annual Board approval.

The 2026 international first-year grid lists $4,000 at 80.0 to 84.9%, $8,000 at 85.0 to 89.9%, $15,000 at 90.0 to 94.9%, and $20,000 at 95% and above. Later renewals have separate values and conditions. An applicant who gains domestic-fee status moves to the domestic award level. Do not subtract a four-year international maximum from the first-year tuition bill.

The 2027 next-steps page confirms April 15, 2027 as the OneApp closing date. That form covers other awards and bursaries; it does not confirm a 2027 Brock Scholars dollar grid. Automatic entrance consideration and a submitted OneApp are separate funding routes. The Brock financial-aid guide keeps the wider award details. Use the amount and terms on your own award notice when updating the budget.

Build a cash calendar before deducting aid

The awards page says entrance scholarships post towards tuition before September classes and cannot pay first instalments or down payments. Housing adds a narrower rule: an award already showing on Student Financial History can pay the first residence payment. Keep both instructions in view. Do not treat an expected award as posted credit. Check the available balance with Housing before using it to meet an early payment.

OSAP also takes time. Brock recommends completing the application by the end of June, without giving that advice a new entry year. Normal processing takes four to six weeks. Once the enrolment-confirmation window opens and the file is complete, funding release normally takes another seven to ten business days. A missing document can keep that process from starting. Watch the application status instead of treating an estimate as approval.

The university first draws the funding needed for the balance in the current disbursement period. That balance can include tuition, fees, residence and meals. Only the excess goes to the student's bank. Pay any confirmed shortfall by the deadline. Do not pay the full bill again without checking the expected remittance. If you change your course load, update the aid file as well as your registration.

What needs another check before Fall 2027

The latest checked fee, room and meal schedules cover 2026-27. They do not publish 2027-28 starting tuition, ancillary fees, UHIP, room or meal prices. New-cycle deposit amounts, instalments, tuition due dates, course-refund dates and entrance-award values remain pending. Our editorial recheck is February 1, 2027. Check again before accepting a room or paying a non-refundable deposit. Confirmed 2027 application and OneApp dates do not fill those price gaps.

Several official pages mix old labels with current dates. The room-fee FAQ still says July 31, 2025 for its first instalment; the dedicated 2026-27 schedule says July 31, 2026. Some Brock pages also blocked a direct fetch, although the sources cited here were read through the web tool. The Brock hub keeps the general overview, and our Ontario application-deadlines guide covers the wider entry calendar.
