When do University of Ottawa offers come out for Fall 2027?
uOttawa's Ontario high school rounds run mid-November to end of January, mid-February to mid-April, and mid-May to August. These are annual windows; exact Fall 2027 round days aren't published. The school says undecided files should get a final decision around the end of May. It doesn't refuse admission in the first two rounds.

Reviewed against each row's official source. Recheck the source before you act, because dates and fees change.
The first round uses earlier final marks and doesn't send refusals
The Ontario page puts the first round from mid-November to the end of January. It uses your best five final Grade 11 or Grade 12 marks. Required subjects have their own rules. Available Grade 12 finals can be used where the page's conditions apply. Read the rule for math, science or both if your program needs them. The source gives an annual process. It doesn't print a Fall 2027 day for each round. Keep that limit beside the window in your plan.
The school explicitly says it doesn't deny admission in the first round. A lack of an early offer therefore shouldn't be read as a first-round refusal. Your application can be evaluated again when more marks arrive. The page says applications are reviewed in each round as new grades become available. That explains why your result can differ from a friend's even when you both applied early. The file can have different prerequisites, course timing or available final marks.
Don't turn an early offer window into a reason to predict a personal result from a single grade. The round page describes how the record is assembled, not a guaranteed offer average for every degree. Read the academic requirements for your actual program through the uOttawa admissions guide. A completed main application and eligibility for review are different from selection. Keep taking the required courses while the university waits for the later part of your Grade 12 record.

The second round needs more Grade 12 information
The second round runs from mid-February to mid-April in uOttawa's yearless guidance. It uses six final marks with at least two Grade 12 marks, and checks that you're enrolled in the program prerequisites. The page keeps subject-area rules for programs needing math or science. This is why the second-round calculation isn't simply a repeat of the first one. More of your current record is available, and the school can review the file with that new information.
uOttawa also says it doesn't deny admission in the second round. A file still waiting at that point can continue into the third round. That statement isn't a promise you'll be admitted later. It tells you when refusals begin under the current Ontario process. Read your official status and document requests while the university continues review. If a required course has changed, make sure the school record is updated rather than assuming the first application form captures every later change.
The months describe a window, not an offer every week within it. No exact Fall 2027 days appear in the checked round page. A peer's spring offer doesn't establish the date for your degree or a course taken in a different semester. Use the Ontario application deadlines guide for closing dates and the official personal checklist for outstanding work. This article explains why the next review can need a different set of grades, without projecting a past round day into the new cycle.

The third round and end-of-May answer have different scope
The third round is listed from mid-May to August. It uses six Grade 12 interim or final grades, including the required courses for your chosen program. uOttawa says it needs marks for every prerequisite at this stage. It also begins sending refusals and alternate offers during this round. An alternate offer is a result for another route, so read its degree name carefully. The wider summer span doesn't mean every pending high school file is expected to wait until August.
The same page's FAQ says that if no decision arrived in the first two rounds, you can expect a final decision around the end of May. OUAC's explicitly dated Fall 2027 schedule separately gives May 28, 2027 as the response limit for an on-time Ontario high school application. A response can be an offer, refusal or a deferred decision requiring further information. We show these statements with their own scope rather than replacing the school's broad round span with an invented exact day.
If your file is still unclear after a posted result, read what the result asks you to do. The page says a refusal after the third round can be reconsidered if your OUAC grades have been updated, but you must contact the office. That is different from the automatic reconsideration during earlier rounds. Don't assume a better mark has already reopened a completed decision. Ask about your actual updated record. The current policy doesn't promise a new offer or a fixed reconsideration date.

Under review can mean uOttawa is waiting for your new marks
uOttawa explains 'under review' as waiting for OUAC to send the most recent grades. Your school should also report course-selection changes, including courses taken outside the regular school day. The university continues evaluating once it has the required information. That label therefore doesn't reveal a refusal or a release-day prediction. Check that the course list and marks are current. A missing prerequisite record is a concrete issue to raise with your guidance office or admissions.
The round page says you receive an acknowledgement after applying through OUAC, with information for accessing uoZone. Its current guidance gives within one week, but that isn't an admission-decision promise. The applied-student page then directs you to the Admission file for supporting documents. An acknowledgement confirms receipt and gives next steps. It doesn't replace those later tasks. Save the message so you can identify your own record if you need to ask about a missing item.
Use the application route you actually followed when making changes. uOttawa's applied page distinguishes OUAC applicants from people who applied directly. It also says a program change depends on the new program still being open. A changed choice can have different requirements. The uOttawa program hub links those degree details. Don't assume the old program's timing or completed materials automatically settle review of a new choice you make during the application cycle.

Portfolios, auditions and co-op choices affect what the decision means
The round page says the decision can depend on additional requirements such as a portfolio or audition. It doesn't provide a separate dated release day for each of those routes. Complete the program's own material and keep its confirmation. A message about an assessment appointment is a task, not an academic offer. The checked source gives the three-stage Ontario process and the factors that affect it; it doesn't justify a new 2027 day for every creative program.
Co-op is another detail to check. uOttawa says you can get a program offer without co-op if you don't meet the co-op rules. Read the exact option on your letter. A place without co-op isn't the same offer as one with it. The uOttawa Engineering guide explains that route. Read your program's own guide too. The date you hear only tells you when the result arrived. The letter tells you which options and conditions belong to the place you're offered.
Awards are also separate. The applied-student page directs you to explore scholarships and bursaries, and the official awards page has its own categories and conditions. An offer of degree admission doesn't prove you qualify for every award you see. The uOttawa financial-aid guide owns that detail. Put an award task beside its own instructions rather than borrowing the admission window as an award deadline. You can organise those tasks while your academic decision is still pending.

Academic offers, residence offers and final-condition checks aren't the same round
uOttawa's admitted-student page says to read the PDF offer in your Admission file and follow its response deadline. It also separates any required admission deposit and later verification of conditions. The yearless May-to-late-August condition-checking period on that page isn't the initial offer schedule. A status showing condition review after acceptance can therefore describe a later stage. Keep the final transcript tasks in your plan, even though you already know the university has offered you a place.
Housing uses its own application and room-offer calendar. The checked residence dates page still covers 2026-2027, including separately dated room-offer rounds. Those aren't academic admission rounds and aren't confirmed Fall 2027 housing dates. The uOttawa residence guide owns the housing conditions. Read it and the residence instructions before assuming a message called an 'offer' is about your degree. A room confirmation and an academic response can need different actions.
