Morisset Library in detail
Morisset has 25 group study rooms on the concourse, the 4th floor and the 6th floor. You can book each one for up to two hours. Eight more rooms are for graduate students only.
The service desk and a Second Cup are on the 1st floor. Printers and scanners are in MRT 142, and there's a phone booth on the 5th floor. Rooms 116, 117 and 416 are accessible study rooms. You'll also find height-adjustable desks and a video magnifier on the 1st floor. uOttawa posts a live occupancy rate for Morisset, so check it before you walk over during exams.
The IT help desk is also in Morisset Hall, in room 06. Its regular hours are weekdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Learning Crossroads (CRX)
CRX's library services are on the 2nd floor. The 2nd and 5th floors together hold more than 1,000 individual and group study spaces, and the 5th floor has study rooms you can reserve online. The Digital Skills Hub helps with podcasting, virtual reality and other tools, and you can borrow cameras, microphones and tripods.
CRX keeps shorter hours than Morisset and closes at 9 p.m. on weekdays. Food is close by: Paramount, Thai Express and Tim Hortons are in the building.
Health Sciences Library at Roger Guindon Hall
The Health Sciences Library serves nursing, health sciences, medicine and rehabilitation sciences, with a second location at Lees campus. At Roger Guindon Hall, six group study rooms are for students only, bookable online for up to two hours a day.
In September 2026 the library was under renovation, with work expected through the end of the month. It stayed open, but the computer lab in RGN 1020R was closed. Expect some construction noise until the work finishes.
Booking rooms and exam-season hours
Book a study room through the Library's reservation page. Rooms suit individuals or groups of up to six, though sizes vary. Study carrels at Morisset, the law library and the Health Sciences Library are for graduate students.
Hours change around holidays. During the fall reading week, from October 24 to 31, 2026, Morisset closes at 11 p.m. instead of 2 a.m. The libraries list shorter hours on December 22, 2026, before the holiday closure.
