Bachelor of Management is now the BBA
Lethbridge says that effective July 1, 2025, the Bachelor of Management (BMgt) changed to the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Students applying for Fall 2025 and later are admitted to the BBA. If you see BMgt on older pages or in a counsellor's notes, it is the same school and the same family of majors.
Lethbridge says its BBA is the first and only AACSB accredited BBA offered in Alberta and on the prairies. Majors with their own program pages include general management, accounting, finance and marketing. A regular bachelor's degree is usually 40 courses, or about four years.

Course requirements
Lethbridge publishes Ontario courses directly. You need five courses with a minimum 65% average across them. One must be English (ENG4U, EAE4U or ETS4U). Three come from a list that includes sciences, Calculus and Vectors, Computer Science, law, politics and any other 4U course. The fifth is any 4U or 4M course not already used.
There is one more rule. One of your five courses must be MHF4U, MDM4U, MCT4C or MAP4C. Two of those are college level (C) courses, and Lethbridge accepts them for this rule.
The accounting page shows the same 65% minimum and the same Ontario course list. Students from other provinces can pick their province on any major page. Plan your timetable with our course planner.

The average you need
The BBA pages ask for a minimum 65% average across your five courses. Lethbridge's general admission page says the average is calculated using the highest averages of eligible courses. It also says some programs have higher standards.
Lethbridge does not publish the average of students it admitted to the BBA. Treat 65% as the floor, not a target. The deadlines page also warns that programs may fill to capacity before the deadline, so applying early matters.
Use our Top 6 average calculator to see where your marks sit, then pick your best five eligible courses.

No essay or interview
The BBA program pages list courses and an average only. There is no supplementary application, essay, interview or portfolio for admission.
Some scholarships are different. Lethbridge says a reference letter or essay may be required for certain high school awards in the online application.

Co-op is optional
The Dhillon School offers co-op placements to eligible students in any degree or major. Work terms are four, eight or 12 months of paid, full-time work. Lethbridge says students can earn $2.5K to $5.5K monthly.
Three work terms, or 12 months, earn the Co-op Designation on your parchment and transcript. Work terms are pass or fail and are extra to your degree, so you don't get academic credit for them. The 2026-27 fee schedule lists the co-op program at $1,552.80 per term, including fees.

Tuition for 2026-27
Lethbridge charges by the course. The 2026-27 fall and winter schedule for the main campus lists $682.20 per course for domestic students. Five courses, a full term, cost $3,411.00 in tuition. With required fees such as student administration, recreation, health and dental, and the students' union, the five course total is $4,473.73 per term. Dhillon students also pay a $20.40 experiential learning fee each fall and winter term.
Our estimate, not a Lethbridge figure: two full terms at $4,473.73 come to about $8,947 for the year, plus the two $20.40 fees. Residence, meals and books are extra. International rates are on a separate schedule.
Scholarships
The Board of Governors' Admission Scholarship is worth up to $1,000. Apply for admission by December 15 with a Grade 12 admission average of 80% or higher. Lethbridge says you'll also be guaranteed on-campus housing.
High school entrance awards are worth up to $6,000. They need a separate online application by March 15. Students in Grade 11 can also apply for the Grade 11 Merit Award by June 30 of that year.

Combined degrees and other options
Lethbridge lists combined degrees that pair the BBA with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media or Bachelor of Health Sciences. A combined degree is generally about 50 courses, or about five years, and is offered at the Lethbridge campus only. You graduate with two degrees.
In Calgary, Lethbridge runs an integrated pathway with Bow Valley College. You earn a BBA in general management and a Bow Valley business diploma in four years.

For parents
This is one of the more open business degrees in Canada. The bar is a 65% average over five courses, and a college math counts. The risk is not the average. It is the date, because programs can fill before the deadline.
Encourage an application before December 15. It costs nothing extra and opens the $1,000 scholarship and guaranteed housing if your teen has 80% or more. See our University of Lethbridge guide for campus details.
