Compare the three campuses

Humber lists North, Lakeshore and Downtown as its campuses. The Downtown campus also appears as Humber Downtown (IGS), short for the International Graduate School. Both names point to the same address on Hayden Street.

The campus you attend comes from your program, not from a preference you choose later. Check the campus on the live program page for your intake before you compare residence or transit.

North Campus

Humber calls North its main campus. It describes 250 acres of natural landscape alongside labs, trades workshops, residences and fitness facilities. The North Library serves Humber, the University of Guelph-Humber and the Centre for Skilled Trades and Technology.

The Learning Resource Commons (LRC) holds the North Library and North Learning Commons. The Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation is also at 205 Humber College Blvd. Humber lists its trades centre as a standalone facility at 110 Carrier Drive.

Lakeshore Campus

Lakeshore sits on Lake Ontario in Etobicoke. Humber highlights its historic cottages, creative studios and waterfront setting. Several Humber facilities sit along Lake Shore Blvd. West rather than inside one building.

Humber lists the Humber Cultural Hub at 3199 Lake Shore Blvd. W., the Fashion Institute at 3166, Humber Art Commons at 3253 and the Lakeshore Welcome Centre at 2 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Dr. The Lakeshore fitness centre is in the ATH Building at 3246 Lake Shore Blvd. W. Check the building on your timetable before your first day.

Downtown Campus (IGS)

Humber Downtown occupies Unit 400 at 59 Hayden Street, near Bloor-Yonge station. Humber describes programs in technology, business and health, with graduate certificates and industry connections.

Downtown has no residence of its own. Humber's residence agreement covers only the North and Lakeshore residences, so Downtown students should compare the commute or look at Humber's off-campus housing support. The Library runs a book lending machine on the fourth floor and ships other books from North and Lakeshore on request.

Getting there by TTC

Humber's transit page lists these TTC connections. Check ttc.ca for current service before you travel. Humber also says GO Transit, Mississauga Transit (MiWay), Brampton Transit and York Region Transit serve North Campus.

Finding your way on campus

Humber's Campus Compass app covers North, Lakeshore and the University of Guelph-Humber. Floor plans, virtual tours and parking maps for each campus are on the Maps page. Your MyHumber schedule shows the campus, building and room for each class.

Course listings use short campus codes: N means North and L means Lakeshore. The Campus Walk Program lets you request an escort to your car, residence or the campus edge at North and Lakeshore. MyHumber's how-to guides cover registering and paying for a parking permit. Humber's parking site did not load when we checked, so confirm current permit prices with Humber.
