Meet the co-op conditions

The CPA3 page shows work-term sequencing that varies by fall or winter intake, including a paid co-op work term in the final semester. Fanshawe’s policy effective July 20, 2026 requires prior academic levels to be completed or in progress. Students must be actively enrolled in co-op with Conditional Continuation or In Good Standing and complete preparation workshops for a co-op-endorsed credential. The co-op manager may make an exception for Not Academically Complete standing, and international students also need a co-op work permit.

A 2.5 overall program GPA controls access to employer vacancies on Jobsite. Otherwise-eligible students below it may find a work term independently and seek approval. Program rules may add conditions, and Fanshawe’s support does not guarantee placement.

Fanshawe’s CPA3 transfer search names Ontario Tech University’s Bachelor of Science (Honours) Computer Science. Ontario Tech says an approved public Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Computer Programming and Analysis with a minimum mid-70s average can be considered. Successful students receive 60 credit hours toward its 120-credit-hour degree, with four full-time semesters listed at North Oshawa.

Specialization or course matching can affect the individual plan, so use adviser planning with the receiving university to confirm how the 60 hours apply. The receiving university controls admission and the current record; no result is guaranteed.
