WebAdvisor or FanshaweOnline?
You'll use both, with the same single sign-on username and password. Fanshawe says students typically log in to FOL two to five times a day, and that important course news is often posted there rather than announced in class.
| Task | Where you do it |

Your login, student number and MFA
Your single sign-on credentials arrive by email within 48 hours of applying, with the subject line "Fanshawe - WebAdvisor Account". Fanshawe says it's the only message that contains them, so keep it. The same login opens WebAdvisor, FOL, the residence portal, the bursary and scholarship portals and FANCard Photo.
Lost them? If you know your seven-digit student number, reset your password at password.fanshawec.ca. If you don't, the Office of the Registrar can give it to you. The IT Service Desk is at 519-452-6902, itservicedesk@fanshawec.ca, or room E2030 at the London Campus.
Fanshawe requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) whenever you're off the college network. If you can't use an app, apply online for an alternative through the Library Learning Commons. For an accommodation, email accessibility@fanshawec.ca.
When your timetable appears
Class schedules usually appear in WebAdvisor about six weeks before term. Full-time students are registered automatically in all mandatory courses. Unless you're in General Arts and Science, the only courses you choose are electives. Your schedule shows each class's time, room and whether it's online or in person.
Your courses show up in FOL once you're registered, usually about a week before classes. Required and recommended materials lists usually follow about a week after schedules are released.
Registering for a General Education elective
Electives are first come, first served, and full courses have no waiting list, so register as soon as registration opens.
- Find your program and level on Fanshawe's General Education page, then note the subject, course number, section and term.
- In WebAdvisor, choose Express Registration and enter those details.
- On the next screen, choose Register from the action menu and click Continue. An error at the top means the course is full.
- Check your Course Schedule Grid Layout to confirm the elective is there.
Fee deadlines for 2026-27
Fanshawe bills one term at a time. Each term has a non-refundable deposit deadline and a final tuition deadline. Level 1 students get a registration package with fee details, and returning students get an emailed invoice. Miss your deposit and you won't be registered, which can cost you your seat.
These are the standard domestic dates. Fanshawe says your own deposit date can differ depending on when you were admitted, so check your invoice and WebAdvisor. International students have separate dates.
| Term | Non-refundable deposit | Tuition balance due | $150 late fee applied |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fall 2026 | Monday, June 15, 2026 | Monday, September 21, 2026 | Tuesday, September 22, 2026 |

- Pay online through WebAdvisor's "Pay on my account" option, which opens Flywire. Some Flywire methods carry a service fee, and credit card payments usually post within two days.
- Or pay through your bank, using your seven-digit student number as the account number. Allow three to five business days.
- Fanshawe doesn't take in-person or phone tuition payments, except for Continuing Education.
- If you're charged a late fee and still don't pay by the end of term, you'll be blocked from future registration.
