Compare the campuses

Fanshawe's campus directory lists the London Campus, the London Downtown Campus, three regional campuses and the Huron/Bruce regional sites. The descriptions below are how each campus page describes itself. They're not full program lists, so open the full-time programs link for your campus before you decide.

Fanshawe residence is at the London Campus only. The downtown campus FAQ says Fanshawe has no plans to build a downtown residence.

The London Campus and its satellite buildings

Most full-time students study at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd. Two London Campus buildings are off the main site, so check your room and building codes when your schedule comes out.

  • The Centre for Applied Transportation Technologies is at 1764 Oxford Street, a short walk from the main campus. It has shops and labs for transportation programs.
  • The Norton Wolf School of Aviation and Aerospace Technology runs all of Fanshawe's aviation programs from the Fanshawe Aviation Centre, 1000 Air Ontario Drive. It's an 80,000 square foot hangar at London International Airport, minutes from the main campus.

Studying at the London Downtown Campus

If your program runs downtown, the campus FAQ says your classes will be at 130 Dundas Street or at the School for Digital and Performing Arts at 137 Dundas Street. You won't need to travel to the London Campus for classes.

There's no parking and no gym downtown. Full-time students can use the Student Wellness Centre at the London Campus, about a 20-minute bus ride away on LTC route 4 Oxford East. The London Public Library's Central Branch is about a five-minute walk. Academic advisers are on site, along with services such as the Registrar's Office, counselling, accessibility, testing and the bookstore.

What about London South?

Fanshawe's pages don't agree here. The campus directory, checked on September 30, 2026, doesn't list a London South Campus. The FANCard page and the first-year page still mention London South, and the first-year page says its parking is free.

If your offer or program page names London South, ask the Office of the Registrar or your program where classes actually run before you plan housing or travel.

The LTC bus pass

Full-time post-secondary students at London campuses get an FSU Student Bus Pass for London Transit (LTC). It's loaded on your FANCard. Tap the card on the validator at the front of the bus. It gives unlimited rides seven days a week from September 1 to August 31, but only on LTC buses in London.

The pass is a mandatory ancillary fee for these students, and you can't opt out. The Fanshawe Student Union lists the fee as $305.30 for Fall 2026, $201.49 for Winter 2027 and $98.80 for Summer 2026. It's an annual fee, charged once per academic year.

  • Students in ACE, apprenticeship, co-op, continuing education, fully online or part-time study, and students at a regional campus, don't get the pass.
  • Co-op students can buy an FSU Co-Op Bus Pass through a form on the FSU bus page.
  • The digital FANCard ID can't be used on the bus. A replacement physical card costs $25 at the FANCard office in E2020.
  • London is building rapid transit, so some bus stops will move. Check the LTC website for changes.

Regional transit, parking and bikes

Outside London, Fanshawe points you to local transit. Ride Norfolk runs on demand for Simcoe/Norfolk. Woodstock Transit serves Woodstock/Oxford, and St. Thomas Transit has a route within St. Thomas. Middlesex County Connect links Middlesex County towns with London, Woodstock and Ingersoll. Parking is free at the regional campuses.

At the London Campus, parking is enforced from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Term permits are sold online, and some reserved parking may be available for out-of-town students. Two Fanshawe pages give different general-lot prices, so check the parking portal before you drive.
