Where it is and when it's open

The Library Learning Commons (LLC) is in F Building, room F1066, at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd. Staff are there Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The LLC says the space itself is open for student use 24/7.

Fanshawe says LLC services are available to students at any campus, even though the building is in London. The St. Thomas/Elgin campus page lists its own library. At the London Downtown Campus, the FAQ points you to the London Public Library's Central Branch, about a five-minute walk away, and to the LLC's online resources.

Bookable student study spaces are in the LLC, A1013 and A2020. You sign in with your Fanshawe credentials and get a confirmation email. Tap your FANCard to open the second-floor study rooms.

Drop-in and one-on-one help

Borrowing books, games and calculators

Your FANCard is your library card. Borrowing is free and includes books, video games, board games and calculators. Most loans last 21 days and renew automatically up to three times if nobody has requested the item.

Sign in to your library account with your FanshaweOnline username and password to renew or request items. Requested items wait in the pickup locker at F1066 for seven days. Interlibrary loans are free for items the LLC doesn't own.

Computers, printing and scanning

The LLC has six computers at tall tables, without webcams. For more space, use the three 24/7 computer labs in F2042, A2020 and B1049. You can't print in the library itself. Print in those labs or send the job to the Print Shop, paying with money loaded on your FANCard.
