Western Main Campus, Huron and King's: Campus Guide
You can earn a Western degree from three places in London, Ontario: Western's main campus, Huron University College or King's University College. Huron and King's are affiliated university colleges with their own admissions codes, classes and residences. Brescia University College is no longer a separate choice; it fully integrated with Western in May 2024. Choose the campus first, because it decides your residence options.

Main campus, Huron or King's
All three appear under Western on the OUAC application, and all lead to a Western degree. Huron and King's each admit you to a general first year in the program area you choose. The biggest practical difference is housing: Huron and King's students aren't eligible for main-campus residence.
| Campus | Address | How you apply | First-year housing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Western main campus | 1151 Richmond Street | Western's main-campus OUAC program choices | Main-campus residence guarantee for eligible first-years |
| Huron University College | 1349 Western Road | Choose Huron within Western's OUAC choices: EHA (Arts), EHO (Social Science), EHD (Management and Organizational Studies) | Huron's own residences: O'Neil/Ridley, Hellmuth, Southwest and Burnlea |
| King's University College | 266 Epworth Avenue | King's codes within Western on OUAC, including EKA (Arts), EKD (Management and Organizational Studies) and EKC (Childhood and Youth Studies) | King's residence, guaranteed for first-year students who apply before June 2 |
Finding your way around main campus
Western describes its main campus as about 1,200 acres beside the Thames River, with more than 42,000 students, professors and staff. It runs like a small city, with eateries, a doctor's office and groceries on campus. Western's 2024-25 facts page counts 42,978 students, including 5,445 international students from 134 countries.
A few buildings come up in your first weeks. The University Community Centre (UCC) holds University Students' Council rooms that clubs and teams can book. Student Central, the registrar's front desk for ONECards and records, is in Room 1120 of the Western Student Services Building. Taylor Library sits in the Natural Sciences Centre, and Weldon Library is at the centre of campus. Use Western's campus map to find the building codes on your timetable.

How Huron and King's connect to main campus
Huron sits on Western Road, about a five-minute walk from the UCC and Weldon Library, according to Huron. It says its students can take up to 40% of their courses from Western's programs. King's is further away, on Epworth Avenue. Its students walk about seven minutes to the Huron at Waterloo stop, then take LTC Route 27 westbound to main campus. Full-time King's students get their own LTC pass on the MyKing's 1Card.
Course sharing has limits in the other direction too. A main-campus student can't take an affiliated college course if the same course is taught on main campus, and can take at most 1.0 course per session at an affiliated college.

What happened to Brescia
Brescia University College fully integrated with Western University in May 2024. Its programs now sit in the Brescia School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, part of Western's Faculty of Health Sciences, which is home to Foods and Nutrition and to Family Studies and Human Development. Brescia's former library closed on May 1, 2024, and its collection moved into Western Libraries.
Clare Hall, Brescia's residence, is now one of Western's first-year buildings. The integration agreement kept it as an all-women identifying residence for at least four years, subject to demand, and Western still lists it as all-women for 2026-27.
Getting around London: bus pass and parking
Every full-time undergraduate gets a London Transit bus pass through the University Students' Council. It gives unlimited rides at all hours, seven days a week, and your Western ONECard is the tap card. The pass runs from September 1 to August 31, and you can't opt out. Western's draft 2026-27 ancillary fee schedule lists the transit pass at $323.55 for full-time undergraduates.
Parking is scarce. Student permits are sold based on available space, and the fall 2026 and annual permits sold out by July 15, 2026. A waitlist moves only when permits come back. Winter 2027 permits go on sale November 15, 2026. Western encourages students in residence or near campus not to bring a car.
| Going from Western to | LTC routes listed by London Transit |
