University of Guelph programs, majors, and degrees
The University of Guelph currently advertises more than 75 undergraduate majors and more than 60 minors. Its Ontario admission guide organizes the direct-entry choices into 15 bachelor degree groupings. Co-op, common first year, and undeclared entry
Guelph uses several entry models. Computer Science and Software Engineering have separate regular and co-op choices, while Bachelor of Engineering majors are currently marked co-op-only at admission. Commerce offers an undeclared first year, but students who want co-op should apply directly to a co-op major. Agriculture and Environmental Sciences use a common first year before major selection. Many Arts, Science, Commerce, and environmental majors also list co-op, with competitive admission that can exceed the published regular-program range.

Ontario Veterinary College DVM is not direct entry
The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is not offered directly from secondary school. Applicants first complete at least two years of a full-time undergraduate degree including the required courses, then apply through the separate DVM admission process. No Guelph bachelor degree is a guaranteed pre-vet route.

Engineering and Computing entry streams
Bachelor of Engineering majors are currently marked co-op-only at admission, while Computer Science and Software Engineering have separate regular and co-op choices selected through OUAC. Current structure
University of Guelph-Humber is a different campus and model
The University of Guelph-Humber, established in 2002, operates on a separate campus in northwest Toronto and currently offers eight programs. In four years of full-time study, students earn both an honours University of Guelph degree and a Humber diploma. It is not the main Guelph campus, and its programs, admission, and student experience are separate.

Guelph program-choice checklist
- 1.Select the exact degree and major rather than applying to a broad subject label.
- 2.Confirm every Ontario prerequisite and the current estimated range for that specific choice.
- 3.Check whether the major is selected at admission, after a common first year, or through an undeclared option.
- 4.Apply directly to the co-op version when that is the intended route and compare its higher competitive range.
- 5.Complete the BIF or another program-specific item by its own deadline when required.
