Tuition, Scholarships, and Aid
2026–2027 tuition and current funding update
University of Guelph scholarships, tuition, and financial aid
Guelph funding is not one application. A student may be considered for an automatic entrance scholarship, apply for a competitive award or bursary, use OSAP or another government aid program, and pursue paid campus work. Tuition varies by program, student status, cohort year, and course load, so the final budget must use the live fee schedule for the exact student.

OSAP, bursaries, and Work Study at Guelph
Eligible Ontario students can use OSAP grants and loans; applicants from another province or territory generally use their home jurisdiction's program. Guelph recommends completing the government-aid application 8–10 weeks before the study period when funding is needed at the beginning of term.
Need-based Guelph bursaries and Work Study use a Financial Need Assessment Form. Domestic undergraduates applying for Work Study normally need a complete full-time government-aid application and at least 1.5 credits, subject to disability-related course-load rules. International undergraduates can apply beginning in second year and must remain full-time. Approval is required before job applications through Experience Guelph, and a job is not guaranteed.
