Laurentian Meal Plans: 2026-27 Prices and Flex Dollars
At Laurentian University, you must buy a meal plan if you live in Single Student Residence, University College, West or East Residence, or if you're a first-year student at Huntington Residence. For 2026-27 the three residence plans cost $4,585 (Light Eater), $5,286 (Commuter) or $6,070.80 (Ultimate). Each includes meals at the Great Hall, an all-you-care-to-eat dining room, plus Flex Dollars.

2026-27 residence meal plans
Plans cover September to April. There are no meal plans in summer. Residence plans run from the first week of September to the end of April.

Optional meal blocks
If you live in the Mature Student Residence, at Huntington (after first year) or off campus, you can buy a block of Great Hall meals in the myLaurentian Portal under Shop, then Meal.

Where to eat and how you pay
- The Great Hall in the R.D. Parker Building is all-you-care-to-eat, with pizza, pasta, grill, deli, stir-fry and a produce market.
- Subway is across from the Great Hall, and Tim Hortons is on the first floor of the Arts Building.
- Your OneCard is swiped for each meal. Flex Dollars on the card work at any Chartwells location on campus, including Cravings, Tim Hortons and Subway.
- To change your plan, visit the Housing and Food Services office in West Residence, room W-120.
