Timetables and registration

Sheridan uses three timetable types: an Assigned Schedule with courses already listed, a Custom Schedule that students build course by course, and a Block Selection Schedule with a preset group of courses. Health, libraries and campus services

Sheridan’s student-services directory says Health Services are available at Davis, Hazel McCallion and Trafalgar, and each campus has a Library and Learning Commons. It also routes students to Counselling, Accessible Learning, tutoring, off-campus housing help, and Athletics and Recreation. Current students book Health Centre appointments or find service details through Sheridan Central; use the named office for eligibility, hours and appointment access.

Counselling and learning support

Counselling Services helps with personal, emotional and relationship concerns that affect your studies. Sessions are strictly confidential, and nothing is shared without your written permission unless the law requires it. The Accessible Learning office arranges accommodations for eligible students with disabilities, and learning support covers math, writing, English conversation, study skills and program-level help.

Community and peer support

The Centre for Indigenous Relations, Community, Leadership and Education is a space for Indigenous students to meet people and get support. Peer mentors work at all three campuses, and Student Advisement is the first stop for questions from orientation to graduation. Co-operative Education supports work terms for about 2,000 students a year.

What your student fees pay for

Your ancillary fees fund much of this, and you can't opt out of them. For 2026–27, a full-time student pays $95 a semester for athletic activities, $60 toward athletic buildings, $66 for health and counselling, $54 for tutoring and $29 for peer mentoring. The Sheridan Student Union charges $108 a semester for its student experience fee, which supports clubs, events and legal help for students.
