Sheridan myStudent Centre, SLATE, Timetables and Fee Deadlines
myStudent Centre is where you pay fees, register and see your schedule. SLATE is where your courses run. Your deposit comes first, because it holds your seat.

Which Sheridan system does what
Sheridan's Registrar site, myOTR, lists the main student platforms. You'll use a separate StarRez portal for residence, and residence fees go to a separate account from tuition.
| System | What you use it for |
|---|---|
| myStudent Centre | Fees and payments, enrolment appointments, class registration, your schedule, receipts, transcripts and service requests such as withdrawing |
| SLATE | Sheridan's online learning environment, where your courses, content and course work live |
| Sheridan Central | The student hub for news and campus information, including OneCard and parking pages |
| Applicant Portal | Where new students see their fee estimate before they start |
| myOTR | The Office of the Registrar's guides, dates, timetable types and contacts |

Pay your tuition deposit to hold your seat
You pay a non-refundable tuition deposit once each academic year, and again whenever you start a new program. Paying it confirms your seat, and you must pay it to register for the term. If you change your mind after paying, withdraw formally by the 10th day of the term. Otherwise you owe the full tuition and fees for that term.
Domestic deposits are $250 full-time and $170 part-time. International students pay $2,000, or $340 if returning part-time. New international students pay full first-semester fees by the date in their offer letter, and students continuing from Fall 2026 into Winter pay no Winter deposit.
| Term | New domestic students | Returning students | New international students |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fall 2026 | June 15, 2026 | July 15, 2026 | See your offer letter |
| Winter 2027 | October 15, 2026 | October 15, 2026 | See your offer letter |
| Spring 2027 | February 16, 2027 | February 16, 2027 | See your offer letter |
Assigned, custom or block timetables
Your program gives you one of three timetable types. An assigned schedule comes filled in with your courses. A custom schedule is one you build course by course. A block selection schedule lets you pick one of several preset blocks of classes. Search your program on myOTR's timetable page to see which type you have. Some programs switch type between semesters.
Your enrolment appointment is the first date you can register or change your schedule. Find it in myStudent Centre under the Manage Classes tile. For a block, choose Enroll by My Requirements, preview the options and select Enroll. A green check mark means it worked. Pick your core courses before any elective.
Sheridan says schedules sometimes change, so recheck yours in the first week of classes. For Fall 2026, first-year enrolment appointments opened July 28, 2026 at 8 a.m.
Getting into SLATE
Sign in at slate.sheridancollege.ca or through the Sheridan website. You're enrolled in your SLATE courses automatically, and they appear as early as four calendar days before each course starts.
If you add, drop or swap a course, it can take one to two days to show in SLATE. First check that the course is in your myStudent Centre schedule. If it still isn't in SLATE after two business days, ask your instructor. Joint program students may wait longer.
Paying tuition and avoiding holds
Pay through Flywire from the Financial Account tile in myStudent Centre, or by online or in-branch banking using your nine-digit Sheridan student number. Sheridan takes no in-person payments on campus. Allow three to five business days for a payment to arrive. CIBC's Student Pay Portal stopped being a payment option on September 17, 2026.
Tuition is due September 30, 2026 for Fall, January 31, 2027 for Winter and May 31, 2027 for Spring/Summer, for domestic and returning international students. New international students follow their offer letter. A balance over $100 after the due date adds a hold and a late fee of $150 (domestic) or $300 (international). A hold blocks further enrolment and official documents until you pay in full.
The Fall 2026 payment plan cost $35, and the opt-in deadline was September 29, 2026. Under that plan, half the fees are due September 30 and the rest by October 30, 2026. The payment plan page covered only Fall 2026 when we checked.
2026-27 dates to track
These dates come from Sheridan's 2026-27 academic calendar for regular-session courses, checked September 30, 2026. Seven-week courses have their own add and drop dates. Sheridan says withdrawal deadlines are strictly enforced.
