Apply through the correct system
Mohawk directs domestic applicants who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents to the Ontario College Application System. Ontario Colleges currently charges a non-refundable $150 fee for up to five choices, with no more than three at one college, in one August-to-July academic year. International and apprenticeship applicants follow separate Mohawk routes.
Meet competitive-program timing
For oversubscribed programs, Mohawk lists equal consideration by Feb. 1 for September starts and June 1 for January starts. It then ranks required-subject grades and may require portfolios, questionnaires or information sessions. Practical Nursing separately labels itself competitive and late release; its September 2026 intake is currently closed, while January and May 2027 show open.
Accept and register from official records
Check the offer letter for the acceptance due date, then complete payment and registration through Mohawk's stated systems. Submit the documents and prerequisites on the individual program record. An open search status does not waive admission requirements, and a paid Ontario Colleges fee does not guarantee an offer.
