Plan OSAP and awards

Conestoga directs eligible Ontario students to apply for OSAP on the provincial portal and upload documents there. Full-time OSAP generally requires at least 60% of a full course load, or 40% for a student with a permanent or persistent or prolonged disability who chooses that treatment. The college says every full-time student still pays a $500 non-refundable annual tuition deposit; an OSAP application does not replace it.

The General Awards Application is open for Fall 2026 from August 17 until September 25, 2026 at 4 p.m. It uses Conestoga student credentials and matches applicants to available awards, but award availability, terms and values can change. The CCSAF bursary is limited to eligible domestic students with financial need; full-time enrolment is required unless the student has a permanent disability and is registered with Accessible Learning.

Check Work Study separately

Work Study is a separate current-student employment route. It requires full-time study, satisfactory progress, a valid SIN and category-specific conditions. Domestic students need an assessed OSAP or other provincial-aid application, or a stand-alone need assessment; international students need a valid study permit that allows on-campus work. Eligibility does not guarantee a position.
