myCentennial or Luminate?

Before you accept an offer, domestic applicants track their status in myApplication and confirm the offer at ontariocolleges.ca. In-house applicants follow the steps on their offer instead. Once you've confirmed, the same login opens myCentennial.

Centennial's learning system is now called Centennial Luminate, at luminate.centennialcollege.ca. Its student help and 24/7 support come from Blackboard. If you've heard of eCentennial, Centennial's old eCentennial help page now shows the Luminate guide.

Logging in and getting help

Your username is your nine-digit Centennial student ID. Passwords need at least 10 characters, with an upper case letter, a lower case letter, a number and a special character. They expire every 120 days. If you forget yours, reset it at netid.cencol.ca with a code sent to your myCentennial email.

The IT Service Desk handles myCentennial and Luminate login problems. Call 416-289-5280 or email ITServiceDesk@centennialcollege.ca, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. For in-person help, each campus has a client support counter, such as Room C2-03 in the Progress Student Hub.

Each campus also has a Student Hub for in-person help. At Progress, it handles fees, adding or dropping courses, OSAP questions and your student ID.

Building your timetable

You can't register until all current and past-due fees are paid. Registration then runs in two modes. You start in block-based mode, choosing a block for your program. Later, course-based mode opens courses from other semesters of your program. myCentennial shows your mode and your registration date.

For fall 2026, first- and final-semester students could register from July 15, everyone else from July 22, and course-based mode opened July 27. Centennial hadn't posted Winter 2027 registration dates on September 30, 2026.

  • Run a degree audit first to see the courses you still need.
  • If COMM999 or MATH999 sits on your timetable, it's holding a spot until you finish your English or math skills assessment. Book the assessment.
  • If a section is full, pick another one, or ask to be added through CASS.
  • Use a CASS request for course changes you can't make yourself, program transfers, readmission, withdrawal and enrolment letters. Submit one request only.
  • For registration help, call 416-289-5300, Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern.

Fee Estimates, deposits and paying

Your Fee Estimate in myCentennial shows your Deposit Due Date and Fees Due Date. Winter estimates come out in November, fall in June and summer in March, and Centennial emails your myCentennial account when one is ready. If you miss the deposit date, your seat can go to another applicant. Returning students who miss the full payment date pay a $150 late fee.

For fall 2026, the tuition deposit was due June 25, 2026. For domestic students it's $250. If you're approved for OSAP for the term, you can ask to have it waived through CASS. Your balance is then due within seven days of your OSAP funding arriving. Eligible full-time students who've paid the deposit and registered can also ask for a Student Tuition Payment Agreement.

To pay, open the Academics Home card in myCentennial, choose Make a Payment, then finish in Flywire. Tuition isn't taken over the phone. First-semester international students pay the full academic year's tuition shown on their offer letter before registering.

Getting your myCard

Your myCard is your official student photo ID. It opens parking gates, gets you into the gyms, borrows library items and pays for printing. Upload a photo at myphoto.centennialcollege.ca, wait for the approval email, then pick the card up at your chosen campus with government ID. A virtual myCard is also available in the TouchNet OneCard app, where you sign in with your student number and myCentennial password.
