Centennial scholarships, bursaries and OSAP

Prospective international students have a separate, intake-specific entrance route. Centennial’s current page says eligible first-time international students beginning in September 2026 or January 2027 could receive an entrance scholarship based on program duration. It lists exclusions, including second Centennial programs, new ELL starts, international-tuition exemptions and students who already received an Entrance, Loyalty or Mobility scholarship. It also excludes a deferred start with at least $2,000 in the account when no study-permit application has been made. Treat this as a September 2026/January 2027 offer; the page does not establish later-intake funding.

Most other institutional opportunities begin after registration. Centennial says students must be registered for classes and complete the Scholarships and Bursaries Finder at least once per academic year. The Finder matches a student profile to most opportunities, while academic awards may require no application and instead use the criteria and nomination process for that award. A match, invitation or entrance-page eligibility statement is not an award decision.

Centennial’s general FAQ says bursaries are unavailable to international students, but the current Fall 2026 application listing labels some bursaries and scholarships as available to all students. Because these first-party pages conflict, use the live award record and confirm residency eligibility with Student Financial Services before relying on an opportunity.

For Ontario residents, Centennial identifies OSAP as the primary government-aid route. Its deadlines are relative to the study period: apply no later than 60 days before the end and submit required documents no later than 40 days before the end.
