Bishop's Gym: John H. Price Sports Centre Hours and Fees
The John H. Price Sports Centre is Bishop's University's gym and recreation complex, home of the Gaiters. Students' compulsory fees include a Sports Centre fee of $54.37 a semester, which isn't charged to students taking all their courses online. The centre is open 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.

Hours
The pool has its own schedule. On October 14, 2026 the centre opens at noon because of a planned power shutdown.
The Sports Centre fee of $54.37 a semester is part of your compulsory fees, unless all your courses are online.

Women's and non-binary workout hours
- Sunday 5 to 7 p.m.
- Wednesday 8:30 to 10 p.m.
- Friday 6:30 to 8 a.m.
Intramurals and group fitness
Bishop's Intramurals runs team sports, individual and dual activities and special events for students at any skill level. Email intramurals@ubishops.ca to get involved. Group fitness and personal training are booked through the Gaiters online registration site.
Parking and showers
- Student parking is in lot P2, behind Paterson and the Sports Centre.
- Students who bike to campus can apply for access to showers in the Sports Plex.
- Tim Hortons is on the upper level of the Sports Centre.
