Vanier says admitted applicants receive their official letter in Omnivox. The student guide gives the Fee Payment route under Services and points students to student services such as financial aid, health, student advocacy, accessibility and OPUS support. Check the current portal notices for scholarship opportunities and deadlines.
Course selection and schedules use Omnivox registration. For changing programs, choosing or deleting a course, graduation checks or university planning, the student guide points to Academic Advising. Follow the current registration instructions and deadlines before changing a course.
Certificate status also affects the DEC course plan and exit exam. Vanier lists five French-language or French-taught courses, with the mix depending on certificate status, program and proficiency. Certificate holders take the English Exit Exam; students without a certificate take the French exit exam. Review the exact program grid with an adviser.
Decision checklist
- Activate Omnivox after receiving Vanier instructions.
- Use Services for fee payment and check admission messages.
- Ask Student Services when a portal task or support need is unclear.
