For Pure and Applied Science, Vanier requires Math TS/SN 506 (or CEGEP equivalent 201-015-RE), Physics 504 (or 203-001-RE), and Chemistry 504 (or 202-001-RE), in addition to college-wide requirements. This is one program example; it should not be generalized to every Vanier program.
The one-semester Prerequisites Springboard profile is for missing secondary science or mathematics courses, not for raising grades in courses already taken. Vanier requires strong previous mathematics/science results and a full course load. Eligible schooling includes a Quebec DES or Diploma of Vocational Education with Secondary V first and second languages and Secondary IV mathematics; out-of-province applicants need equivalent schooling.
Students who have already completed at least one college semester should ask an adviser about the Transition profile. Springboard students begin general education alongside prerequisite courses, then apply separately to their target DEC program.
