NSCC housing options

NSCC’s housing overview separates campus housing from off-campus planning. Housing is offered only at selected locations, so first match the live program listing to its campus. An eCampus or blended option can create a different housing decision from a fully in-person offering.

Ivany provides a concrete 2026–27 example. NSCC lists 200 rooms and names one- and four-bedroom suites in the page’s room-type section. Its fee table also publishes a three-bedroom rate, although the page does not list or describe three-bedroom suites; confirm that room type directly before relying on the rate. Priority goes to confirmed applicants and current Ivany students. Students at other metro campuses may apply, but receive an offer only if space remains.

Ivany’s published fees are per student and include utilities, Wi-Fi and $500 in dining dollars per term. Parking is excluded, and the housing page says on-site parking cannot be guaranteed. The $500 housing deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, then credited to the fall payment.

Campus housing applications for 2026/27 are open to students who have accepted their admission offer and paid the tuition deposit, plus returning students. Earlier applications generally help, but NSCC also considers campus enrolment, accessibility and room or roommate preferences. Eligible applicants without an offer join a rolling waitlist; NSCC does not assign waitlist numbers. Students applying at a campus other than their study campus receive lower priority and are automatically waitlisted.

The $500 room-acceptance deposit is due within three weeks of a housing offer and is non-refundable and non-transferable. After occupancy begins, a student who withdraws normally owes a $100 administrative fee, fees prorated through departure and four additional weeks of room fees. After November 1 in fall or March 1 in winter, the full semester room and board remains payable. A medical or exceptional-circumstance credit request needs written evidence within 14 days of withdrawal and remains at NSCC’s discretion.
