NSCC offers certificates and diplomas across trades, technology, culinary and business fields, with campus, delivery and intake varying by program. The examples below show why applicants must compare the exact offering. Electrical Construction and Industrial has mandatory field experience. Culinary Management has required co-op and attendance conditions. Business Administration uses a common first year before location- and seat-dependent concentrations.
IT Programming is one detailed example. NSCC describes it as application-development and software problem-solving study leading to a diploma, typically over two years, with a portfolio of work. On September 12, 2026, its page showed the January 2027 blended Institute of Technology Campus offering as available to domestic applicants while international applicants would be waitlisted. That dated status can change and does not apply to every intake or campus.
The program page gives 2026–27 tuition of $3,800 domestic or $13,505 international. These figures are tuition only: NSCC says books, supplies, student services, health and dental plans, student association and parking can add costs. Use the linked program-fee pages and your account for the exact schedule. IT Programming also has a mandatory field-experience credit course that is typically unpaid and lasts about five weeks. Its optional co-op credit course between years one and two is paid, full-time employment related to the program and must be at least 12 weeks and 420 hours. Transportation, accommodation and other work-experience costs remain the student’s responsibility.
