Acadia Residences: 2026-27 Fees, Rooms and Guarantee
Acadia University guarantees first-year students a room in residence in Wolfville. For September 2026 to April 2027, room fees run from $7,335 for a double in Seminary House, 55 University Ave or War Memorial House to $10,680 for a premium single with a private bathroom. Everyone in residence must also buy a meal plan. You pay a $50 one-time application fee and a $500 room deposit.

There's also a $50 residence campus program fee. If you live in residence for one semester only, you pay half the listed fee.

A few houses compared
- War Memorial House is near Main Street and the Athletics Complex, with a kitchen and lounge on each floor and general and quiet sections.
- Whitman House ("Tully") is for female-identifying students, beside Wheelock Dining Hall, with private bathrooms. It's home to the Women in Science and Engineering living learning community.
- Rooms come furnished. Laundry in residence is coin-operated.
How to apply
- Accept your offer of admission and pay your confirmation deposit.
- Activate your Acadia Network account, then open the Residence Application from your Application Status Page. It can take up to 48 hours to work.
- Choose a meal plan; everyone on campus must have one.
- Pay the $50 application fee and the $500 non-refundable room deposit, which goes toward your first semester's fees.
- In May you get a room selection timeslot by email. Choose a room by June 1, or Residence Life assigns one based on your preferences.
