Separate tuition, fees and funding

SAIT says the amount paid depends on citizenship status, program and course load. Its 2026–27 tuition and fee changes are effective July 1, 2026, and tuition is listed separately from mandatory SAIT and Saitsa fees. Program pages can provide an estimated total using a recommended schedule, as the IT Services example does.

Student Awards uses mySAIT. New students choose the entrance-award application, all students use the credit-award application, and apprentices use the apprentice application. Submit once per academic year; some awards need added documents, while others are assessed automatically from the application. Full-time award eligibility generally means at least nine credits, and SAIT says domestic and international students and attending apprentices may apply. Selection and payment are not guaranteed.

The Bissett Bursary is a narrower prospective-student route. It is for domestic applicants age 24 or under from Calgary or within one hour, with no prior postsecondary education and financial need. Eligible study includes certificates, diplomas and pre-employment programs; degrees and apprenticeships are excluded. The Fall 2026 deadline has passed. SAIT lists November 28, 2026 for Winter 2027 and February 15, 2027 for Spring 2027.
