Co-op, careers and further study

Applied-learning requirements are program-specific. Business Information Systems has an optional co-op concentration, while Computer Engineering Technology requires three four-month paid co-op terms. Practical Nursing requires clinical experiences and can lose placement access based on agency review. Confirm whether the experience is mandatory, paid, arranged by the institution or secured by the student before comparing programs.

Sask Polytech’s outgoing-transfer guidance distinguishes block credit for a completed program from course-by-course credit. It says final decisions follow admission at the receiving institution; GPA, accreditation and course-age requirements can apply. Ask the destination to assess the exact diploma and courses before treating a pathway as a degree plan.
