Choose a credential and study pattern

Langara identifies its campus at 100 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, and acknowledges that it is located on Musqueam territory. The institution offers Regular Studies credentials and program pages identify delivery, starts and enrolment type for each offering.

A program’s start term, limited or open enrolment and delivery mode affect planning. The Computer Studies diploma is listed as full-time or part-time, with January, May and September starts and limited enrolment.

Choose the credential before comparing course length. In computing, Langara offers a Computer Studies diploma, a Computer Science associate degree and an Internet and Web Technology certificate. They have different enrolment models and timelines. A two-year minimum is not a promise that every start term or part-time schedule finishes in two calendar years.

Plan housing and the 2027 intake

Housing needs a separate plan: Langara has no on-campus residences. College-operated Homestay places students with host families; independent rentals involve their own landlords and contracts. Compare meal arrangements and the commute to 49th Avenue before committing, especially if your arrival date is earlier than a Homestay placement can begin.

The 2027 intake matters for administration and budgeting. Status tracking changes from SIS to the Langara Admissions Portal at Summer 2027. The international first-semester deposit rises from $6,000 to $9,000 at the same boundary, while the returning-student deposit ends.
